    In addition to construction related disputes our firm has handled a number of other types of business and real estate related disputes ranging from easement and property rights disputes to corporate dissolution. We have handled creditor's rights issues in the bankruptcy court and lawsuits in federal courts involving business disputes.

Although our practice specializes in representing contractors, I have been an active trial attorney throughout my twenty plus years of practice.  I have taken over twenty cases to a jury verdict..  I have had numerous bench trials.  I also have had an active appellate practice with three published cases (see below) in varied areas of practice.  I have obtained two, million dollar verdicts for clients.  I also speak Dutch fluently, was born in the Netherlands and also speak some Spanish and German, not fluently but passably.  My husband and I practice together in a small office setting.

Amazing.
Patricia Teunisse was amazing. She returned my call promptly, patiently listened to everything I had to say, and didn't rush me one single bit. I spoke with three attorneys today regarding my real estate matter, and she was by far the most knowledgeable and well versed. She spoke with me over the phone for a long time, and turned down my offer to pay her for her time. I would have went down to her practice and paid her a retainer had she advised that, but she told me that I didn't need to at this point. She's sharp, patient, amazingly well versed on real estate and law, and very empathetic. I will be using her when I need representation, guaranteed.

Hi, I am a Public Works General Contractor in the Orange County area for over 20 years. I was introduced to Patricia Teunisse and Randy Pitre of Pitre & Teunisse in 1998. Our meeting with Patricia and Randy went very well and they have handled all of our legal matters ever since. As a general contractor you don't include money in your bids or nor do you have a budget for legal matters. The best course of action for our business is to stay out of the court room. Patricia and Randy understand this and always guide us to the minimum cost with a legal matter but at the same time protect us from Harms way. Many of our legal matters have to do with a Subcontractor or a Public Entity. Patricia and Randy are extremely well educated in all areas of the law in Public Works, Public Contract Law, Public Codes, CSLB laws and many other areas of our industry. Patricia and Randy understand the needs of a general contractor in that, our focus is on completing the project for our client, when a legal item comes up, Patricia and Randy educate and advise us of all aspects of the legal matter. This has always helped us to make a smart decision to minimize cost and exposure to our company. Patricia and Randy care about the outcome of our legal matters, they are not just about billing a client like so many lawyers are.... They want to minimize legal cost and protect their client!
