Biography
Graduated summa cum laude from University of Redlands with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management. Was a merit scholarship student at Western State University College of Law, earning a Juris Doctor with an emphasis in Taxation cum laude in 1997. Currently teaches Business Law as well as a graduate course in Negotiation at . Serves as Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Foundation of Citrus Valley Health Partners: .
Because of his extensive experience in teaching simultaneously with practicing law, Havens has a communications style which allows him to express complex legal terms into easy language for his clients to understand. After a consultation with him, clients feel a level of trust and comfort that their problems will be competently seen through to their completion. Patience and particular attention with elderly clients and those requiring special needs trusts are a hallmark of his practice.
Havens is involved in woodworking and teaching fifth and sixth grade children's church at his church. He enjoys riding his motorcycle to work when the weather permits.
