Kratu Ramesh Patel

Upon meeting Mr. Patel I felt like I was meeting a genuine person, not a salesperson trying to take my money. He answered all my questions before, during and after my case ended very patiently. He stays in touch with you and makes you feel secure. It wasn't fun being involved in the law, but I'm glad I found Mr. Patel.

Gonna keep it simple here, the guy has patience but carries himself in a dignified and confident way. I always felt like I was in good hands, despite being in a messed up situation. He is way well connected in court as well. All in all I got through the system with minimal stress, that was definitely a first for me...He definitely keeps it real!

I worked closely with Kratu Patel during my court case at West Covina. The case was for a DUI that I had managed to procure in my home town and was fighting in West Covina. Initially, I had hired a lawyer, but he had ever increasing fees that I could not, ultimately, afford. I was lucky enough to receive Mr. Patel as my public defender. I had heard from people that public defenders don't tend to do a good job, but Kratu performed phenomenally on my behalf. He made the whole process, for the most part, painless. Obviously if you have to go to court it isn't the best experience. However, Mr. Patel made me feel completely comfortable with what was happening in the court room. His defense was relentless and he missed no opportunities to prove our point. At one point he was able to catch one of the officers, essentially, lying on the stand. Ultimately it will be up to the jury whether or not you win your case, but I would, if ever in the same situation, hire Kratu Patel to defend me again. He is well spoken and knowledgeable about the system. Also, he does his homework. I had seen the inside of his office in the public defenders office. It was packed with cases, all of which he was working diligently on. Regardless of his immense work load, he performed exceptionally in court on my case, and for that I am forever in his debt. As the title says, Kratu not only has a soul, but he is masterfully skillful in the court room, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who is unfortunate enough to be sitting in that chair in court.

Mr. Patel is very smart attorney. He knows how to find the right facts and loopholes that make the most sense for his client. He represented my cousin wrongly accused of domestic violence. My cousin's former attorney wasted so much time and money and got accomplished nothing. When Mr. Patel took over the case, he immediately got to work and he was able to get the case completely dismissed. Thank Mr. Patel for saving our family.

When Mr. Patel was working as a Los Angeles Public Defender he was assigned to represent my cousin who was being charged with DUI, felony Hit & Run and resisting arrest. The charges were a total sham, but the district attorney refused to consider the reckless actions of the arresting officer. Mr. Patel was patient and really seemed to care about my young cousin's future. He couldn't get the charges dismissed but he was able to strike a deal where my cousin avoided any jail time and pled out to only one misdemeanor that will eventually go off his record. Thank you Mr. Patel! Thank you for caring and not simply taking the officer's side and having everyone plea out to the charges.
