Hola! I didn’t forget you. How does this sound? A few years ago, a contracted and licensed plumbing company I had hired negligently attempted to replace a lateral sewage line to my house. Multiple errors led to OSHA shutting down the work for nearly a month. When the plumbing company finally “fixed” the line, they failed to backfill the ground properly causing repetitive sinking of the ground. To make matters worse, they attempted to use concrete slurry to stop the sinking which caused the replaced line to get damaged. The plumbing company refused to fix the issue claiming I was past my warrant. Neil took my case after I had explained the situation and the undue burden of cost from the negligent work. He unrelentingly pursued the plumbing company to help recuperate those costs but to no avail. Neil filed several lawsuits and meticulously kept in constant contact with me, offering legal advice, and potential paths forward. The plumbing company decided a trial option was not the best course of action for them and decided to settle out of court for the fees I had incurred to repair their faulty work. Neil is a five-star attorney! His perseverance and attention to detail helped win a difficult case. No matter the curveball the other company’s attorney tried to throw, Neil quickly overcame those obstacles resulting in a settlement that resolved my financial loss.

I called Neil for a consultation about a small claims case I was filing against a homeowner who contracted me to renovate a house he was selling and didn't wanna pay when work was finished. At the consultation I presented Neil with the facts of my case, and Neil helped me fill out the SC-100 form, and explained to me how to present my facts and evidence in court, and I followed his direction in court and won my case and was paid the money I was owed! Just from a consultation! Neil I couldn't of done it without you, thanks again-your the greatest!

This is the second time I have utilized the services of Mr. Opdahl-Lopez. From the beginning of this terrible ordeal, he was communicative and knowledgeable. He answered every question I had in a way I could understand, and he was reassuring during one of the worst times of my life. He handled things in a timely manner and walked me through the processes I needed to complete. Every step of the way was made easier because I had his expertise available to me. Let’s face it, most of the time when you are looking to retain a lawyer it isn’t due to the most pleasant of circumstances. To make matters worse when calling law offices the assistant you speak with is usually short and unhelpful. I myself experienced this quite a bit of this. The people I spoke with weren’t just unhelpful but in some cases quite rude. And when finally I did speak with somebody helpful unfortunately they were not taking landlord/tenant cases or wanted $200 for a 30 min consultation. The whole situation felt extremely hopeless to say the least. I came across Neil‘s page, gave him a call and I’m so thankful I did. One conversation with Neil was better then any of the $200 30min conversations I had previously which often left with even more questions then when the conversation began. If you’re feeling discouraged looking for a lawyer just take my word for it and give this guy a call he won’t regret it.

Neil has Fought my DUI case for me for over 2 years now and went to court MULTIPLE times in the high desert to fight for me and not having a DUI on my driving record and that’s exactly what he did . I was referred to Neil by a friend because I was unsure about what was about to happen and I needed advice. I spoke with him on the phone and I explained my situation, to which he was completely sympathetic. He then walked me, step by step, through the entire process from beginning to end - clearly explaining each step. He went over the timeline, the type of paperwork we'd need tp fill out, the mistakes he's seen made, and what to be careful of and look out for. He also went into what my rights were as a father and husband filing for divorce. He answered all of the questions I had and even ones I didn't know to ask. He then told me I could call him anytime if I had questions, which I did a few times after the initial consult because as the process began I had more questions and needed help. He gave me great advice, answered my questions and helped me figure out how to proceed. I could not recommend Neil any higher to help navigate this process. The whole idea of divorce is painful enough, but Neil helped me through it. I won't say he put my mind at ease, but it was just a little less painful knowing what to do and what to expect.
