My life had changed drastically, it had been turned upsidedown. I needed legal assistant. I was reffered to Mr. Sorkin. I have to admit that the first conversation lasted 10 minutes, he immediately expessed his consern and advised us of the options. After receiving pension payments for nearly SEVEN years, I was notified that an error was made when calculating my late husbands pension amount. I was informed that I had been overpaid $235.85 per month, for a total of 83 months resulting in an overpayment of $19,575.52. The pension fund said they wa...nted the overpaid amount returned, and that future benefits would be adjusted to their revised figures. The new monthly payment would be nearly half of the current amount. This was just wrong so I sought out Mr. Sorkin's advice. Mr. Sorkin wrote one single letter for me outlining a similar case that had been deemed wrong, and the pension fund changed their demands, and that I would not have to repay any amount. Future payments would be reduced to reflect the corrected pension amount. This certainly worked out a lot better than it could have. Thank you so much Mr. Sorkin! You are my Hero!
