After receiving pension payments for nearly SEVEN years, I was notified that an error was made when calculating my late husbands pension amount. I was informed that I had been overpaid $235.85 per month, for a total of 83 months resulting in an overpayment of $19,575.52. The pension fund said they wa...nted the overpaid amount returned, and that future benefits would be adjusted to their revised figures. The new monthly payment would be nearly half of the current amount. This was just wrong so I sought out Mr. Sorkin's advice. Mr. Sorkin wrote one single letter for me outlining a similar case that had been deemed wrong, and the pension fund changed their demands, and that I would not have to repay any amount.
