I was referred to him by the San Fernando Valley Bar Association as being an expert in construction law. He is not. I met with him on August 26 and fired him on September 13. Before September 10, he had done absolutely nothing on my matter. I wrote him copious emails which he claims took him 2-1/...2 hours to review, which were necessitated by his lack of responsiveness. He wrote two letters to insurance companies representing corporations not involved in my matter and charged me for it.
