Chase Tajima is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tajima LLP, a Los Angeles boutique litigation firm representing businesses, founders, owners, executives, investors, and other sophisticated clients in significant California disputes. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court and in commercial arbitration, leading matters from pre-litigation strategy through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and arbitration.
Mr. Tajima’s practice includes partnership, shareholder, and corporate-control disputes; breach-of-contract claims, including unpaid invoices and other business-payment disputes; business fraud and fiduciary-duty claims; trade-secret and unfair-competition matters; executive and employment disputes; professional-liability claims; and disputes involving substantial financial or reputational risk. Tajima LLP is particularly suited to complex matters in which approximately $300,000 to $10 million is at stake, while considering larger disputes when a lean boutique structure is a strong fit.
Many matters are entirely domestic. Others are California disputes involving Asia-Pacific parties, transactions, evidence, witnesses, infrastructure, or assets, including connections to Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Southeast Asia, Hawaii, and Guam. Tajima LLP serves as California litigation and arbitration counsel; qualified local counsel is engaged when separate advice or proceedings are required in another jurisdiction.
Clients work directly with experienced senior attorneys through a focused, leanly staffed team. Mr. Tajima has obtained multi-million-dollar arbitration awards and settlements, injunctive relief, dismissals, and other favorable resolutions.
