I came to Joy after several years of custody issues with my daughter that I thought would resolved by itself. Initially I would only see my daughter one night a week and one day on the weekend with no overnights. I tired to reason with my ex but with no success. The odds of getting equal custody (50/...50) were not in my favor, but I figured something had to be done because I wasn't seeing my daughter and I didn't want to lose the precious time with my young daughter. I was scared of the legal cost the might incur during the process and the child support I will need to pay (my ex has not been working, or at least claimed to not be working).
