This was my second time using Joy and her team, and once again they were absolutely incredible. My ex filed to modify my alimony, and there were so many unexpected twists throughout the case. There were moments when the aggressive language from the opposing attorney and some surprises during the p...rocess had me overwhelmed, but Joy kept me calm every step of the way. She always took the time to explain what was happening, what I needed to do, and what to expect next, which made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to get through. Joy’s preparation and attention to detail were outstanding. The judge was so impressed with her paperwork that she even commented she would adopt it herself. In the end, we achieved exactly the outcome we were hoping for. Joy Kraft Miles and associates (Joy, Jeanne, and Karla) my Super Heroine Trio. I couldn’t have gotten the best lawyers that works cohesively and diligently. I am a “FREE MAN” with no encumbrances because of their dedication and devotion explaining in details of what will happen and won’t happen in a... divorce. Be direct and be open with them. Remember when you hire them, they’ll protect your best interest and well-being. They will be on your side throughout the process. The process was prolonged because the petitioner was attempting to change the terms with spousal support but when we got to the settlement court, it came back to “my” original terms. All of my ex’s attempts to wring me dry blew up back on her face. She kept excusing herself from the court to make phone calls to her associates familiar with the law only to return to agree to “my” terms. Made attempts to make me look bad, and accusations but I have strong evidence against her physical and verbal abusiveness, neurotic and erratic behavior and mannerisms. All the accusations were false or circumstantial and that won’t fly in a court of law. Realizing from her own counsel she had backed herself against the wall and had no choice but to agree to every term of the MSA. The most surprising embarrassment and shame was during the explanation of the terms. The respondent actually requested my lawyer “Joy” and the judge to explain the terms as if she was a 5th grader??!! I wanted to burst out laughing but that wouldn’t be appropriate in court. Most importantly, at the end of the signing of the judgement my ex (respondent) stated out loud in court in front of the judge that “If she had any friends that will be going through a divorce, she would recommend Joy’s family law firm”. Explicitly, stating that Joy and her associates are the BEST hands down EXCEPTIONAL!! Joy and her team made feel like family members helping me throughout the process and they are a God Send. I cannot express in words what they’ve done for me. I love them with all my heart. The Righteous will always Prevail
