Outstanding Attorney

I reached out and hired Mr. Wasson after a long search for a professional, knowledgeable, and fair divorce attorney. Mr. Wasson performed an outstanding work in settling my divorce. I deeply appreciate his commitment to his clients, professionalism, and provision of excellent service in such a carin...g way.

My "Legal Gunslinger"!

It goes without saying that divorce can be one of the biggest P.I.A. events in life. From paperwork, to legal jargon, to procedure, it really takes its toll. In the early stages of my divorce, I was represented by a different attorney in the valley to handle my case. Having done most of the leg work ...myself (thank you NON-Self-Help Center!) they still managed to screw up paperwork, never return phone calls, and gave vague responses to any questions I had. As soon as the judgment was made, I cut all ties and ran as fast as I could! Cut scene to Round 2 of this lovely process (aka: My Custody Battle), I hired Christopher to represent me. To this day, it has been one of the smartest decisions I have ever made. From my first consult, I INSTANTLY liked him. His soothing character, ultra-professional demeanor, vast knowledge in family law, and overall humorousness were a very much needed cocktail during that incredibly rough period. During my darkest hour, he assured me that “the sun WOULD rise”, a saying that has stuck with me and been applied to life’s many challenges ever since. Chris is a Godsend, and I would highly recommend this firm to anyone who plans to set foot in any family courtroom.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have had the pleasure of working with Chris as opposing counsel on several cases over the years and can attest to the fact that he is a formidable opponent. Chris is particularly strong at analyzing financials, and because he has a banking background (prior Senior VP of a $100 million bank and CFO), he is a shrewd negotiator when it comes to property division and support issues. I have the utmost respect for Chris as a family law attorney, and consider him a friend (even when we are advocating for our respective clients in court). Chris has a reputation for being fair and reasonable, but uncompromising when he feels his client is in the right."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
