This was a VERY traumatic experience for me and had to search for a criminal lawyer asap! I called several reputable lawyers and was able to narrow it down to 3. Requested a consult with this attorney and never received a response. No acknowledgement whatsoever. Requested consult with 2 other attorneys and received appointments right away. Its common courtesy to at least call back and acknowledge the attempt was made even if the attorney is not interested in... taking the case or even hearing you out. All cases are different but yet the same. Whether the case is big or small. People still want their loved ones represented and heard so that they can use these obstacles as stepping stones to a better future.

Arvand is a great lawyer. He was the most passionate about my case out of all the other lawyers I consulted before I consulted him. Other lawyers made me feel like I had no hope and made me feel guilty after hearing my story. Arvand took the time to think about my situation and gave his honest respo...nse on my situation and how he would like to proceed with my case. I had never been charged with a crime and was scared as HELL. I had graduated college a year ago and couldn’t risk my future to a public defender who might of not given my case much thought. I work in the Los Angeles Superior court. I've known Arvand for a long time. In fact, I was the court reporter on his very first trial. He kicked ass in that trial! Luckily I've never had to hire a lawyer to represent me, but If I ever did have a need for one, Arvand would be the person I would... call. Believe me, I've seen thousands of lawyers come into court and can count on one hand the ones I would consider hiring. Arvand is at the top of that list. He treats everyone from the judge to the attorneys to the clerks, the bailiffs and, yes, even the court reporters with the utmost respect, and that goes a long way in the eyes of the court. A member of my family had a little run-in with law enforcement in another county so I made a call to Arvand to ask for his advice. He was on the phone with my family member, who was very scared and confused, that same night. He explained to her the process and what she could expect when she went to court.
