Unfortunately I've recently found myself in a precarious situation that I was unsure of the outcome. This was domestic in nature and really rattled me to the core. I was falsely accused of an assault and really had my back against the wall. I was facing actual time in jail. It seems as though ANYBODY... can make untrue statements toward your person and it's up to YOU to prove otherwise. So I had to adult-up and lawyer-up. Initially I was concerned about the financial aspect of retaining a lawyer represent me. I've heard horror stories and am glad to report this was not one.
