Excellent team

Bowles office provided us with the original arbitration agreement we have every employee sign, which helped us to successfully push a frivolous suit against us in NJ to arbitration. After we won the arbitration, the party attempted to vacate the arbitration in California court, and Tim's team succes...sfully prepared and defended and got the vacation attempt dismissed.

Successful Mediation

After meeting with Tim, my business partner and I decided to hire him to help us prevent a lawsuit from being filed by a former employee who we terminated. Tim successfully convinced the former employee's attorney to go through mediation. Prior to the mediation, Tim requested that we gather all the... necessary documents and prepared our case to present to the mediator. We were able to successfully to reach a settlement in 1 day and avoided a very costly and lengthy trial. Now, my business partner and I can focus our energy on growing our business and prospering!! Tim is always professional and extremely knowledgeable. He knows things about the law that most attorneys practicing for over 10 years have no clue. If you want help to settle or prevent any legal issues, do NOT hesitate to give Tim a call. Thank you Tim, Peggy, and everyone else at the Law Offices of Timothy Bowles!!!

Most Knowledgeable Attorney You Will Ever Get!

Tim impressed me with the years of experience with employment laws and practices. He is bold and stern with his decisions and suggestions. Tim saved us a lot of money in resolving our case through mediation versus going through trial which may cost us hundred of thousands. His best interests are to p...rotect his clients and to save them money. I highly recommend Tim as your attorney.

Great Help For New Small Business

I started my small business a few years ago. Along the way I ran into a few bumps and I turned to Tim Bowles on a referral. I can’t tell you what a life saver he’s been. He held my hand through firing two problematic employees who clearly were looking for ways to take advantage of me. I really believ...e that without Tim’s guidance they could have put me out of put me out of business. Tim also helped me reword my employment contract to make sure I wasn’t leaving myself open for future problems. I also highly recommend Tim’s employment seminar for any business professional. To be honest, I really didn’t know what to expect and figured most of it wouldn’t apply to my position. However, I found the entire seminar very interesting and very applicable. I plan on sending my whole staff the next time it’s offered.

Relationship: Co-worker

"Tim and I were partners in a law firm in the early 1990's. Since that time he has built an extensive practice in representing employers, both defending them against claims and assisting them to prevent claims through proper procedures and practices. I am now working as Of Counsel to his firm. Tim consistently cares about the clients he is representing and works towards results that will be best for their interests. His extensive knowledge in the area of employment law is a major plus for the clients who hire him and can be sure they are getting excellent representation and advice in resolving disputes and setting up their companies correctly in order to avoid having problems. I highly recommend him to any employer who needs help in employment law matters."

"I have had the pleasure of working with Tim for at least 10 years. When I was in-house counsel for a start-up company, I consulted with Tim on a variety of personnel-related matters to excellent result. We have since worked together on many legal matters and I am continually impressed with his knowledge, thoroughness and results-oriented approach. I recommend him for any employment law matters."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have known Tim Bowles for over 20 years, having worked with him in the 1980’s and having kept in touch with him since then. He exemplifies the work ethic, intelligence and attention to detail that characterize the very best civil litigators in greater Los Angeles. Tim’s specialty is employment law defense, i.e. defending employers in wrongful termination, harassment and wage & hour cases. He is one of the most informed and professional attorneys in greater Los Angeles in this type of law. Further, because he manages his own firm and has kept his firm “lean and mean,” he can offer legal services easily competitive in quality and competence with the “tall building” employment defense firms while keeping the costs and fees reasonable. I highly recommend Tim Bowles and his firm to anyone who requires counsel or litigation services in the area of employment defense law."
