Jason Lawrence Oliver

Recently, Mr. Oliver was part of the trial team in Marcisz v. Ultrastar, in which a San Diego jury awarded the four teenage plaintiff girls $6.85 million dollars (six million dollars in punitive damages plus $850,000 in compensatory damages). The trial judge granted a new trial as to the amount of damages only, based on a finding of "excessive damages." Mr. Oliver was the attorney primarily responsible for handling the appeal of the new trial order, and successfully argued for reversal.

In April of 2003, Mr. Oliver established his law offices in Pasadena, while continuing to handle cases throughout California. His law practice has always focused on representing plaintiffs (those injured by others), with an emphasis on helping victims in cases of personal injury, sexual harassment, employment discrimination and wrongful termination. He has handled over one hundred cases at the pre-trial, trial and appellate stages, and arbitration proceedings as well.
