Patrick is a very capable and experienced lawyer. In the event you can get him to show up in PERSON to your hearing and give your case his full attention you will likely a have favorable outcome. The issue I had was that his case load was so high that he had to do all my hearings except 1 by remote s...ession. Even when he said we would show up in person he later sent me a remote hearing request. Judges are human so they will naturally favor the litigants who are standing in court instead of the ones appearing online. Unless both litigants agree to appear remotely a lawyer should never request a client to do to a remote hearing as Patrick made me do. Another lawyer told me that he had never heard of a lawyer appearing remotely for an initial RFO hearing. This shows to the Judge that you are not serious. Judges are not Robots so they definitely feel a type of way when one litigant is appearing online and the other is in the courtroom. I understand he has a business to run, but It was clear that Patrick had too high of a caseload and too many clients to give my case the attention I felt it deserved. It would take weeks to get an email response from him or even a call back. I had to go to the office unannounced in person several times just to get in contact with him. It also took too long to get a hearing date due to the number of other clients and hearings he was scheduled for. Even once we had a date, he was still unable to appear in PERSON to the hearing due to his full calendar. Later the opposing attorney who won talked to me and laughed asking why I did not show up in person to my own RFO. I am sure the Judge shared the same sentiments. I later switched lawyers and went with a lawyer who only had a few reviews on google/yelp because I knew they would have time to work my case without too much overhead and too many other clients. The number of clients/reviews Patrick has negatively affected the quality and service that he was able to deliver for me. I was also not comfortable with how his office solicited me to write a review while he was in the middle of working on my case. Naturally a client will feel pressured to write a good review while the case still being worked on. Beware of any business that solicits a review before service is completed. I removed 3 stars for 3 reasons. 1. I was ignored: (Many unanswered emails and phone calls) 2. I was lied to: (Through email he agreed to show up in person to a hearing which he later made me to do remotely). 3. I feel ripped off: (The amount of money he charges /hr should automatically come with the understanding that he will do all hearings in person unless the client request otherwise). I feel he did my hearings remotely so that he could simultaneously work on other client’s cases, which benefits his business but not me as a client.

As an attorney , I worked with Patrick B. on a case 2 years ago and couldn’t believe the lies he was telling his client about how much money they were going to get. He even made up lies about the ex, just to keep the divorce going so the couple would not reconcile their marriage . This guy is disresp...ected by a lot of attorneys and judges in family law in Los Angeles because his game plan is always the same : 1. LIE about the spouse , 2. LIE about the money , 3. DRAG out the divorce to make the most amount of money , FOR HIMSELF. We all know as attorney’s he does this with all of his clients. It’s his game plan each time Even the judges talk about how he always does this. We all call it after his name , The BAG SCAM. He is just another lying, greedy attorney giving us all a bad name.

I hired Patrick for a premarital agreement. his draft copy was clearly cut-and-pasted (he left the other couple's names in the draft), but he charged me for several hours of work, plus time to fix his mistakes. During negotiations he was almost impossible to reach, never in the office or answering ...his phone. The opposing lawyer also found it impossible to reach Patrick.

You can spend a little bit of money up-front to get the judgement you want or you can find yourself paying for your decision the rest of your life. If you want the job done and done right then you need to get Patrick on your team. He is tenacious and has established an excellent reputation in the... Pasadena courthouse. Results are always tied to relationships and connections. Patrick and his team deliver results. After a 32 year marriage, I walked away keeping 100% of my pension, paid no spousal support, and we paid our own attorney fees despite that fact that my ex refused to work. Patrick was conscientious about expenses and did not try to run the bill up as many attorneys do. If you are in a position where you are going to need to go to court to get a judgement, then you want Patrick standing there beside you. Anything less and you risk a judgement that could have significant monetary implications the rest of your life. SERIOUSLY... YOU WANT PATRICK ON YOUR SIDE. If you decide to not use Patrick for some reason, at least do a consultation with him first so you don't find him representing the other side.
