Recently, I handled a matter where the husband, a high earner, (about $125,000.00 per month) had little to no assets to speak of (not including a house). This did not sit right with me. After nearly ... 8 months of intense discovery (4 different motions to compel and three separate oral depositions) we were able to identify the existence of several undisclosed retirement accounts and partnerships. Said assets were held in two different states. This required interstate jurisdiction. We partnered with two separate law firms. We got the job done!
