I am an attorney and principal at A.H. CHAN LAW FIRM, PC, where I practice a broad spectrum of commercial litigation and transaction, intellectual property law, and employment and labor law. I also handle personal injury and family law matters.

As a litigator, I have successfully litigated cases in both state and federal courts at both trial and appellate levels. I have handled numerous cases involving business disputes, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secret, trademark and copyright infringement cases, real estate, construction contract disputes, labor and employment, and general litigation.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and earned my Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier Law School, where I was a member of the Whittier Law Review and fulfilled the academic requirements for the Center for Intellectual Property Law. I am admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Central District of California, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and Supreme Court of the State of California.

Very good person

Alfred King Ka Chan is a very good person. He helped me by explaining my problems. Also, he knew all the emotions I had and no matter what time if I had any questions I would ask him via text and he would quickly respond with an answer. Finally, he is a very nice person.

Great experience working with Alfred

I was rear ended on the freeway while going to work. As this was my first accident behind the wheel, I was very uncertain and didn't know what to do. When I called Alfred, he offered to take the case. He was able to address all my concerns and ended up staying on it for more than 10 months. He saw that we got a good settlement and all our costs were covered. I would definitely recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to ask for his help in the future.

Highly recommend Attorney Alfred Chan

Attorney Alfred Chan represented me in a contested divorce. My ex-wife didn't want to settle at first and instead hired a top attorney in Pasadena and created roadblocks after roadblocks. THE best lawyer

A lawyer with integrity and honesty in today's time is impossible to find, but I found both in Alfred Chan. I had a very difficult case dealing with dishonest business partners that I had felled into their trap. The duration of the case was more than 2 years and Alfred has given me undivided attention and professional legal advises. He is very systematic and has tons of patience with me. Highly Recommended

car accident

I got a car accident in January this year. Someone rear ended me who had no insurance and took 2 months to fix my car. I am so glad and lucky to use Alfred Chan as my attorney , I did not expect to be that smooth because I had a bad experience with my other car accident that happened 12 years ago I remembered took over a year or more still not able to settle the case and stressful experience. Maybe because it depends case by case but anyway Alfred Chan as my attorney this time gave me very detailed instructions of what to do and what to expect, he is very professional and have very nice manner dealing with insurance company and talking to client. I am getting a very satisfied result and feedback in a reasonable time frame cause of his follow up. I can also tell he is always trying his best for negotiations and I am happy and surprisingly that my case is already over.
