I contacted the Law Office of Vincent W. Davis. I met with and have come to trust Mr. Davis. The area of "dependency" is full of snakes and sharks from every angle. My DCFS matter morphed into a criminal campaign against me. Luckily VWD accepted me as a client. Davis & Assoc. took masterful control of a run away train. Like Mr. Davis, he doesn't walk in wielding a big stick, but when he gets fired up, you are sitting on the correct side of the table. Mr. Ziselman exhibits comfort & ease in the courtroom, definitely from years of experience. Not pretentious or showy like the prosecutors, but that is a sign of confidence, versus prosecutorial arrogance. Excellent argument skills, eloquent, quite impressive. Very focused and doesn't bite when the prosecutors make shiny empty commentary. Likable guy eventually, but likely jaded by the life of criminal defense clients. Straightforward, doesn't want to paint false hope, sort of modest. But, if you want to go the distance, he won't back down. A judge admitted his intention to rule against me (us) before a trial, but ultimately had to dismiss the jury after Mr. Ziselman arguments based on the experience of the VWD Firm. Do NOT underestimate the extreme importance of hiring a lawyer with subject matter expertise. Vincent Davis & Assoc. are the experts in their field. And as free advice, DO NOT TRUST any attorney from Los Angeles Dependency Lawyers (LADL) - a private attorney is the way to go.

He is an amazing, talented, and very wise attorney who's best asset is his heart. He doesn't just do this as a career, it's his passion because he actually cares. He has s...o much knowledge and wisdom in this corrupt state and the hell of CPS, AND does everything to fight for what's right. He has written several books describing the corruption that happens with cps that is very specific and straight to the point, and easy read that I recommend to every person dealing with cps. His office and staff are very neat and orderly, also accommodating to specific needs and time restraints your schedule permits. They are very professional whether you are in the office or by you phone. The response time is immediate. Although he has assistants and other attorneys that work on your case, he still has personal contact with you as well. The amount of time he spends with each client is generous and detailed as if you his only client. One of my favorite characteristics is his confidence in the right path and steps to be taken. When I first came to him my case was already twisted into this insane mess that he still took on. I believe he has recently had some family tragedy in his personal life that happened, and yet he is still able to be sensitive and present to my case. For the last nine months Vincent W. Davis and Associates have been assisting me with my legal battles. One being a juvenile case and the other a long standing criminal case that came at a surprise. In any case, the juvenile case I couldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. In fact, I know with...out Vince’s help, I am fairly positive that my daughter would still be in foster care.
