Highly Recommend Steve Lever

My husband and I highly recommend Steve Lever and his firm. Steve and his legal assistant, Felipe, are very thorough and knowledgeable. We had a complex case and were very nervous about our options. Steve spent a lot of time with us at each of our four appointments and we never felt rushed. He took ...the time to explain all of our options and gave us a realistic sense of what could happen at each step so that we felt prepared. He also took the time to answer all of our questions in between appointments and even after our 341(a) hearing. Steve’s calming demeanor helped us through this very difficult and emotional process. We are nearing the end of our case and never thought we would be able to be free from the burden of debt. We are so thankful for Steve and Felipe!!

Bankruptcy Lawyer

Before, finding Steven Lever I had another Bankruptcy Lawyer with respect I will not say his name and what happened was a debt collector from my loan sue me so I told him that there was a summons against me. That Bankruptcy Lawyer and I made an agreement to make increments on my payments. To make... this short he ends up dropping me and saying I was never a client. Well, I prove that I signed letter of engagement and made a payment but he also said,” He will not take any more clients and that I need to find someone else.” Scared that I had gotten another summons from a different debt collector that I went online and decided to find the best Bankruptcy Lawyer and because I no longer had a Bankruptcy Lawyer to go to. They were several Bankruptcy Lawyers, I emailed two of them, and Steven Lever was quick on responding to my situation. The reviews on Yelp helped me choose Steven Lever and because of his quick response, I decided to go with him. Yes, I was nervous on going to see him and I have not done Bankruptcy before and did not know what was expected from him. Meeting Steven Lever the first time he was very helpful, straight forward, and clear what it is expected, his co – workers were very helpful and nice. He never judges me and my situation it made me feel good. His professionalism is amazing, he cares about his clients, he wants to do the best for you, and he wants to let you leave stress free. I wished the other Bankruptcy Lawyer had the same compassion like Steven Lever but I would not have met him if the other did. The other Bankruptcy Lawyer did not show any concerns and was not understanding of my situation. However, I do not regret having Steven Lever representing me through the Bankruptcy he was friendly, helpful, straightforward, showing kindness, and shows that he cares about his clients. I recommended Steven Lever for Bankruptcy because he is the best of them all! Do not be scared and email him, he will respond as quickly as he can and he is willing to help you through your ordeal that you are going through.

A chance to start over

Steve Lever helped me recover from a surprise layoff, bankruptcy and starting over. As a lifelong journalist, I take nothing and no one at face value. I am cynical and to earn my trust, I have to verify your claims. Bottomline: Steve Lever was the right attorney to help me when things when wrong. He... made few promises, but kept those he did. He treated my wife and I with respect, understanding and patience. We learned to trust him completely as he shepherded us through selling our house, filing for bankruptcy and dealing with the aftermath. Background: After 19 years as an award-winning editor running a seciton that earned my employer over $100 million in revenue, I was blindsided by a group "salary dump" layoff ordered by our new boss, a former Las Vegas casino executive. Without my healthy income, all I had was a lot of bills and money going out - mortgage, college fees for my son, and medical expenses. My longtime financial advisor suggested we meet with Steve. He laid out our options - Chapter 13 or Chapter 7. He laid out the pros and cons of each and the timeline. He gave us a fixed rate that covered most of the expenses. Our finances were complex, so we needed his services for more than a year. Long before we approached the end of the fixed-rate period, we negotiated an extension that was also fairly priced. Steve always lets you know what things cost and took steps to keep the legal budget lean - such as directing us to hire less expensive lawyers and paralegals for some of the copious paperwork that required less expertise (and cost) than Steve offered. Steve and his staff handled all communications with sometimes aggressive and intimidating creditors, Bankruptcy is never painless, but Steve was our shield against the most onerous aspects of the process. Losing your job, selling your home and dealing with bankruptcy is depressing and humbling. .Steve not only had the legal know-how to take us through the process, but made us feel optimistic about our chances to start over when we reached the end. He also showed us mistakes we had made over the years and how to avoid them going forward - debt service is a rock we tie around our necks, wasting the money we are earning.. Bankruptcy is not the Scarlet Letter. It is a means by which society gives people who fall on bad times a chance to rebuild their lives. I have recommend Steve to many friends and colleagues. I have also used him to aid my parents in restructuring their finances as they live long into their 80s on pensions designed for the 1970s. I spent many years as an investigative reporter. I taught college courses on how to verify or disprove claims by people and institutions. Steve Lever has earned my trust and gratitude.

Charter 7 Bankruptcy

I had contemplated filing for Bankruptcy. It is a very difficult decision. However, I accompanied my daughter to a consultation. I was so impressed with the compassion and the professionalism this attorney displayed, I felt that I would be in good hands if Mr. Lever handle my bankruptcy. He expla...ined the pros and cons. And this helped me to make an informed decision. I'm very happy I did. Now this episode is behind me. Thank you Mr Lever, you and your team are awesome.

Lever Law

Going through bankruptcy is never easy or comfortable process. What are the correct decisions to make and more importantly who should you inform of your decision to move ahead with the process. We turned to the law offices of Lever Law to help handle this decision with us. Right from the 1st phone... interview, Steve Lever and his staff made us feel comfortable. He took the time to explain the process and answer our tough questions and made us feel like bankruptcy was something we could recover from prior to us even signing on with his firm. When we did make the decision to move ahead with the bankruptcy, Lever Law stepped in and made sure that everything was handled correctly, on time and made us feel like we were their only clients. They helped educate us in the decision we were making, gave us tools to manage our money now and in the future and continued to follow up with us through the whole process. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have chosen Lever Law to represent us with this tough decision. No, bankruptcy is not something you wish or want to go through, however if you are faced with this unfortunate situation, we recommend Steve Lever and his staff at Lever Law.
