I finally got serious about getting my “final affairs in order". I'm a 59 year old, recent divorcee with stage 4 cancer, and a desire to provide for my children when I pass. It’s a bit unnerving when you plan for the inevitable, but Mark's easy going, and attentive demeanor and his experience and deep planning knowledge really put me at ease. I was struck by how well he actually listened to my specific issues, and how quickly he was able to drill down to the key issues and allay all my concerns, some of which I hadn’t even considered yet. After we had gone through the gauntlet of questions and scenarios, I felt like a great weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. Now I had a Living Trust that was completely customized to my specific needs, and very capable of insulating me and my kids from any potential threat. A week I came back to the office to thoroughly review my trust document with Mark. Everything was completed as we had discussed. I even had a little bit of a change of heart on one item and Mark said “we can change that, no problem”. On the spot, he drafted the specific language customized to exactly what I wanted, but couldn’t articulate myself. Moments later I had the final document, signed and notarized - and I now had that very important task completed.
