Phenomenal Law Team

Michelle Mather has saved my life. I am an Ivy League trained physician, who has graduated from Yale. I lived in PVE, enjoying a charmed life. Recently my life unraveled while going through a traumatic divorce and child custody battle. To cope, I resorted to drinking alcohol and was involved in a dom...estic dispute with my abusive husband. I was being charged with multiple felonies by the district attorney, on which they were not willing to budge. I have no prior criminal history & these felony charges would have made me lose my medical license (MD), livelihood, & children. Reacting out of panic, I only made the situation worst. I felt overwhelmed by the legal process & was thrashing about for help. Most other lawyers found me too challenging to work with; they advised Robert and Michelle to drop my case and give up on me. Caring, Excellent work, Knowledgeable

I don't usually leave reviews because of lack of time and because I generally don’t even think about it. But I would be remiss if I didn’t do so in this instance because we had such a positive experience using Mr. Ernenwein, attorney at law. Our son had a criminal issue that could have resulted in se...rious problems if it were not taken care of skillfully. A very close friend of mine, whose ex-husband is a public defender, highly recommended Mr. Ernenwein. She said that if anyone could resolve this matter quickly, expertly, and affordably it would be he. And was she right. Mr. Ernenwein was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and kind. He took the time to thoroughly explain every facet of our son’s case even though my husband is also an attorney, albeit not a criminal one. He also came across very human sharing stories of his recently born first grandson. And the best part? He got the job done swiftly and in favor of our son. Best defense attorney you can have, without a doubt

My father is a client of Robert Ernenwein and because English is not my father’s best language, he asked me to write a review on his behalf. My father highly recommends Robert Ernenwein. As I was often present with my father during office and court meetings, I too was able to see first-hand that Robe...rt is an excellent and discerning attorney. He was without a doubt the best attorney my father could have had during his misdemeanor case. When my father was arrested, he initially hired an attorney from a different office and had a negative experience. Luckily, I then searched on Avvo and found Robert Ernenwein and his partner, Stephanie Johnson. Robert has decades of experience, including as a former prosecutor. It was obvious that he had the expertise to tackle a challenging case. Robert set up a team to investigate my father’s case, worked with my father’s schedule, brought in Spanish-language interpreters, and was forthcoming and helpful throughout the entire process. Robert went above and beyond to help my father, who was facing a charge that would have resulted in life-time sex offender registration. Thanks to Robert and his team, the truth came out and the jury found my father not guilty of that charge. The best outcome possible!

Robert and his team saved the next 5-7 years of my life along with my families! I was referred to Robert by my father while in Santa Monica jail. I was being held on felony aggravated assault, with great bodily injury charges from the night prior. Robert was able to arrange a bail bond at a significa...nt discounted percentage and get me released the following morning. Immediately upon being released I called to speak with him (i was extrememly emotional). I had never had charges like this or been arrested for a potentially real criminal act. Robert heard me and my discontent of the situation via phone and talked reason and logic to me. He calmed me down and explained the process. I was able to meet with him the next day (sunday) at his office in Torrance. The fact my father called him early hours of the morning, and he answered , we were able to meet for consultation on a sunday showed from the start his dedication and work ethic for his clients. Robert was clear, direct, and gave no false hopes, but he was genuinly hopefully optimistic for my situation from the beginning. Through this long and tedious process he always kept me informed of important events and facts and gave me great guidance. He analyzed the police report and case file after arraignment and created a plan of action. I followed his instructions and we retained his investigators to help me build a solid defense. Again he never gave false hope and was transparent with possibilites of outcomes. He also introduced me to Stefanie Johnson (his partner) and allowed me to have a true legal defense team. Between Robert, Stefanie, Leo, and all of Roberts office, they were succesful in convincing the DA to offer me a plea, with charges being dropped from a "serious, violent felonie with bodily injury enhancement" (5-7 year charge) to misdemeanor assault charge and probation time. They did this before dragging through preliminary trial, which shows that Robert and his team genuinly care for their clients and respect their financial situations. Robert and his team are worth every penny of your defense if you find yourself needing an amazing criminal legal defense team. This was the hardest year of my life (emotionally and mentally), and my patience and trust in Robert and his team has just showed there are good kind hearted attorneys in Los Angeles and miracles do come true if you're deserving. Thank you again Robert, Stefanie, Leo and all the office staff!

Excellent Lawyer, Highly Recommend

This year, a family member found themselves in a difficult situation. We live in Texas and discovered that a family member had criminal charges in California from many years ago. Because we are not from California and don't know anyone to get a personal recommendation from, we were faced with having ...to hire an attorney over the phone, using only google as a reference. We called many firms over the course of two weeks and were continuously disappointed when none of them returned our calls. I finally found a firm that answered the phone and they gave me Robert Ernenwein's name and number. I called him one evening and expected to leave another message because it was after five. To my surprise, he answered the phone and talked to me for about 45 minutes. He asked all the right questions, gave us excellent advice and most importantly, gave us hope. We hired Mr. Ernenwein the following day and his firm began to work on the case right away. He kept us informed, was easy to get in touch with and clearly communicated with us at all times. He had a plan in place and was hopeful to be able to make it happen, but also let us know all the possible outcomes. This morning, Mr. Ernenwein showed us he is a man of his word and he worked his magic in the courtroom. It is obvious he is highly respected in the legal field. The charge was dropped from a strike felony to a misdemeanor. We can't thank him enough for all he has done and we highly recommend his firm in the event you, or a loved one, finds yourself in an unfortunate situation.
