Biography
Mr. Duarte has a strong legal background as he attended one of the top law schools in the United States. Mr. Duarte is licensed to practice in all state courts of California and the Federal Districts of Central, Northern, and Eastern California.
Mr. Duarte specializes in Criminal Defense and DUI Defense, but also provides legal assistance in the areas of Landlord/Tenant, Bankruptcy and Business Formation including creating LLC's, S-Corps, C-Corps, etc.
Prior to opening his own office Mr. Duarte worked at a leading law firm in the creditors rights division representing corporate clients such as Wells Fargo, Chase, and US Bank. After leaving the corporate law firm Mr. Duarte was admitted to the prestigious Academy of Justice litigation program with the Los Angeles City Attorney's office. The program was taught by some of the most respected attorney's in the LA City's office on topics such as DUI, gun & weapons possession, domestic violence, and prostitution. After the completion of the program Mr. Duarte was assigned to handle criminal jury trials on behalf of the LA City Attorney's office as a Pro Bono Deputy City Attorney. Mr. Duarte's experience having litigated cases from both the corporate and government prospective is a clear benefit to his clients as he is very familiar with their litigation tactics.
In Mr. Duarte's brief time as a solo-practitioner he has acheived some impressive results for his clients. Last November Mr. Duarte's client was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol with a .14 blood alcohol level. Mr. Duarte took the case to trial and after completion of trial all charges were dismissed. Mr. Duarte has recently had another clients charges reduced in another DUI case with a .10 blood alcohol level to a speeding exhibition. Mr. Duarte has also successfully taken numerous clients through the bankruptcy process wholly discharging their unsecured debts.

Exceptional attorney
My family hired Mr. Duarte for a DUI case. Not only was he very professional, he also managed to get the case dismissed right before the trial. I have met many lawyers throughout my life but very few were the "real deal" like Mr. Duarte.
