Biography
Brian attributes his love and passion for the courtroom to his family roots in the legal industry, which go back for generations. His father and mother, David and Jane, ran a thriving law firm in the heart of Los Angeles representing “the little folks” for close to 40 years. During his childhood, Brian was exposed to different types of people from all walks of life with their own unique story - and the need for someone to champion their cause. This exposure gave him the passion and desire to want to help people through the law. It also gave him the foundation for practical legal skills - his first encounter with cross-examination was at the dinner table.
Brian began his career as a civil defense attorney where he successfully defended a Fortune 50 Company and major insurance companies. Even though he was able to quickly achieve success and rise through the ranks, he found little satisfaction in defending entities that refused to take responsibility for and/or compensate for real injuries. After four years of defense work, he decided to shift his practice and return to his roots by standing up for the rights and delivering justice for ordinary people. Brian’s defense background enables him to deal with large corporate entities and big insurance companies and to navigate through the smoke and mirrors of insurance company bureaucracy.
To date, he has been able to help his clients obtain close to $60 million dollars in jury verdicts - not settlements.
