Where to begin… I don’t think there’s a word that would describe such an incredible human being. This will be my attempt at doing so. So, the s**t recently hit the fan and during these dark moments Silva was the sunray my family was in dire need of. One of my family members (We’ll refer to him as Jo...hn) was wrapped up in a very undesirable situation where John was facing a serious felony charge and potentially a lengthy jail stint. I was sent to Silva as a referral from an old co-worker of mine who was over the moon with her. She said Silva had previously represented her in a separate criminal proceeding with a favorable outcome and so she shared her contact info and off to the races went. I first met with Silva over the phone and she immediately put me at ease and was able to reduce my anxiety by at least 1,000%. I explained the situation to her, and she whole heartedly listened. Silva was extremely empathic of the situation and gave me hope which almost felt like certainty. At this point, my confidence for her grew exponentially as I knew my family member was in great hands. Since this issue was very time sensitive and John was “in-custody” during my consultation with Silva, she immediately got on the phone, pulled some strings and set up a visit with John the following morning. Obviously, when you hire an attorney to represent you or anyone else you must retain them. This has a financial responsibility which can become VERY expensive and some attorneys will not even talk with you beyond the initial consultation without a retainer. Since I had forgotten my wallet and was very far from home, I could not pay Silva on this particular day which is very irresponsible on my end and completely a fault of my own. Silva did not flinch and said, “hey don’t worry about it I know you’re stressed out” and allowed me to provide payment the following day. Silva selflessly drove from the Westside to Downtown Los Angeles in an effort to bail John out custody pending his court hearing. Since John had a probation “hold” due to his arrest, this meant John would have to automatically serve a 10-day jail sentence due to his probation status. This obviously made the process very challenging for Silva, however, she was successful at lifting the probation hold and even bailing him out. I cannot tell you how much this saved our family and John from further headaches, financial burdens and emotional torment. Silva is a GOD sent. Without getting into details about the case, she was able to obtain positive results for John. Silva Megerditchian showcased immense moral and ethical character and we were all privileged to see how enormous this woman’s heart really is. She really had a special relationship with John and I during this entire process and I am so thankful I found her. Do not waste your time looking elsewhere especially since criminal proceedings are very time sensitive. I guarantee you; YOU will not be disappointed. RUN and HIRE this woman NOW! I almost forgot, not only did Silva talk with me during office hours, after hours and even weekends, Silva called me personally and gave me every single update and quite frankly she just called to see how I was personally doing. Silva was an angel sent from above during the direst times. She is beyond being just a super lawyer. She’s a caring, thoughtful, friendly attorney (almost sounds like an oxymoron) and puts you at ease with her vibrant character. I was referred to her by a friend and her reviews did more justice.
