Avi Levy represented me during my divorce, and my experience was mixed. He is knowledgeable and clearly understands family law, which is the reason I am giving two stars instead of one. However, my experience was difficult due to the overall approach taken in my case. From early on, the strateg...y leaned heavily toward litigation rather than resolution. I was frequently advised to move forward with filings, responses, and court appearances in situations where I believed negotiation could have been more fully explored. A significant portion of my billing included many hours categorized as “meet and confer.” While I understand this is a normal part of the legal process, the frequency and cost of these entries added up quickly and contributed to the overall expense of the case. As a result, the process became more prolonged and significantly more expensive than I anticipated. Routine issues often escalated into formal legal steps, which increased both time and cost, and added stress during an already difficult situation. From my perspective as a client, I was hoping for a more balanced approach that prioritized efficiency and resolution where possible. Instead, the process felt more adversarial and financially intensive than expected. For anyone considering this firm, I would recommend discussing in advance how billing is handled, how often “meet and confer” time is expected, and what steps are taken to manage costs and pursue resolution.

Do not hire this firm. They turn my divorce into a blood bath. They lied and fabricated at evidence and made my ex wife’s life and misery for no reason. They caused me to go broke and my ex-wife as well. All they care about is profits profits profits. They don’t care about what’s in the best intere...st of the family. They don’t care about what’s in the best interest of the children. All they care about is profits profits profits. I have no idea why the other two named partners want to be associated with this type of abuse of lawyers behaving bad. Especially Ksenya (Gity) Kogan and Avi Lecy - watch out

It is clear to me that he is highly respected by ALL individuals whether it be forensic accountants, judges, opposing counsel, appraisers, etc. It is apparent that when other people in different lines of work comment positively about your attorney, you realize the person you hired!! Lastly, Mr. Levy’s partners and associates have also provided the same service and level of confidence Avi has provided.
