Beatrice Fung was referred to me through a friend of a friend when my husband and I suddenly found ourselves faced with a child abuse allegation in which our 10 month old daughter was removed from our home. During my initial consultation with Beatrice, she asked me what my ultimate goal was for this ...case, and I replied to get our daughter back. Ultimately, with the help of medical experts, she was able to show that our daughter never had broken legs, and our case was completely dismissed. We were warned early in our case that once social services are involved it is about proving their case, not finding the truth. In our case, social services was recommending that my husband and I loose custody of our daughter permanently, and never be given the chance to reunify! This was still their recommendation after 3 credible pediatric radiologists and 1 pediatric orthopedic surgeon determined that our daughter never had leg fractures. If you find yourself or your family faced with allegations by social services, YOU MUST HIRE A GOOD ATTORNEY! Do not make the mistake of thinking that just because you are innocent things will “sort itself out”. I was faced with responding to a requested divorce from my wife, as well as having my visitation with my kids set at 2 hours per week.
