Andra Marie Vaccaro

I contacted Andra regarding a copyright theft I was dealing with. She invited me to her home and we spoke for a little over an hour. I had asked if she could represent me in submitting a project. She was happy to do so. Although, once I submitted my project to her, she proceeded to submit my pro...ject to other people WITHOUT my consent. In addition, she initially refused to reply to my emails, confirming that she had received my copy written material. Only after I threatened her with another lawyer, did she finally replied back to me confirmating she had received it (paper trail). She refused to tell me who she was submitting my projects to, she never even sent my project to the individuals I had initially requested. Then, she wouldn’t reply back to my phone calls text messages or emails. She basically disappeared with my project, stating it was “such an amazing idea!” I still have all emails, text messages and correspondence as evidence with her. I do not recommend Andra for legal advice or representation. She is just as shady as the people who stole my work to begin with. That was the whole reason I contacted her in the first place.

I initially spoke to Andra over the phone regarding an intellectual theft issue I had, as well as, hire her as a legal rep to forward a cpl projects to various agents. She took an immediate liking to my project and said she had personal friends that could put it in the right hands of the actors I wa...s trying get attached. She invited me to her office/home to discuss in further detail about the project and the "friends in the business" that might be able to help. Initially walking into her very large home(mansion), I could smell a hint of Marijuana, it caught me off guard. While at her home, she was very excited and stated she was going to, "get right on it, this is an easy sell!" She agreed to forward my project to her contacts as my legal rep and should the project sell, she would receive a percentage amount that we agreed on. Upon meeting with Andra in person at her home and discussing all the details, I sent her a follow up email documenting our meeting and had attached the project, I requested for her to please send me a quick reply back that she received it so I may have a paper trail (Documentation) for my records. Well, for some reason, I never heard back from Andra - for nearly three weeks. When I finally got her on the phone, she didn't sound like the same Andra I had spoken to on the phone or met in person. This Andra didn't sound happy to hear from me. In fact, she made it sound like I was bothering her. She suddenly had amnesia, like we had never spoken or met before. I had to remind her who I was. LIKE, REALLY?! "I recall smelling marijuana at her home but, how much did she smoke before I arrived" was my first thought. I had also noticed I was no longer saved in her contacts list on her iPhone, my iMessage changed from blue to green. I immediately felt like this person is just as much of a fraud as the producers who stole my work in the past. It took her another three days and two more phone calls almost threatening to report her to the Ca State Bar to FINALLY get her to reply back that she received my Intellectual Property. Since then, she has ignored my calls, text messages and emails. I'll merely say this, the people who stole my work in the past did EXACTLY what Andra did. They are very excited to meet you, a big welcoming but, as soon as they get your work, you never hear from them again. And, if you do, they just say, "Yeah, sorry, I couldn't get ahold of my friend, or, we're too busy for your project right now." I've heard it all before, ALL LIES. Because two years later, you see the project on TV, confirmation they stole it. Now you have a legal battle to deal with. It's happened three times to now to me. While Andra may give helpful info online or over the phone, I do NOT advise anyone to hire her for project submissions or legal representation. I've had to learn the hard way, lawyers in many cases are just as bad, if not WORSE than the people you are trying to sue because they know the law and think they can evade it. NOPE.

Ms Vaccaro responded to the question I posted and I called her office. Since I live in another state--she told me she could not represent me. Instead of ending the call--Ms. Vaccaro talked with me about my case--even though she was not to be my lawyer. She displayed a thorough knowledge of the law--a...nd was genuinely interested in seeing that I could get help with my case. For someone to show such concern for me even though I was not a client was wonderful. She spent 30 minutes with me on the phone. I wish I could have her represent me---and I urge anyone that needs a caring, intelligent counsel to avail themselves of her services!!
