Eric is a Detroit area native, who is a private practice attorney in Los Angeles, with a focus on business transactions and litigation and representing individuals in divorces and other legal needs.

He received a B.S., cum laude, in political science, with a double minor in economics and legal studies on a partial academic scholarship from Central Michigan University. Eric then went on to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During that time, he advised on strategy and theme for the campaign of a Michigan State Representative.

While studying for the California Bar Exam, Eric was hired as a Post J.D. law clerk at a plaintiff’s securities law firm. After successfully passing the California State Bar Exam on the first attempt, he began volunteering at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program family law clinic, and the San Diego County Corporation Counsel where he advised the County regarding numerous matters ranging from premise liability, to workers' compensation issues.

In 2014, Eric made the move from San Diego to LA, where he gained firm experience working with small to mid-sized businesses and individuals. He has represented business owners from incorporation, to litigation, and acted as general counsel. Additionally, Eric has represented general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, real estate development companies, and other professions and companies in the real estate industry.

Since branching off on his own in 2016, Eric has continued to represent companies with incorporation matters, litigation matters against other businesses, contract drafting, and other business/individual type representation.

Knowledgeable & Gave Me Something the Big Firms Don’t

Eric came recommended by an acquaintance and I was really happy I ended up working with him. From my initial contact with Eric he made himself available to help me any way he could, which that in itself alone is a much different experience than I’ve encountered with lawyers in the past as they’re usually slow to respond. Eric not only provided me guidance on my particular issue, but made some additional business recommendations to make my business more successful which I also ended up initiating. Would definitely recommend him for his quick response and business knowledge.

Review

I've consulted and worked with Eric a number of times. First, unlike many attorneys he actually answers the phone when I call. I never got an answering service or a secretary. If it went to voicemail, he always called back promptly. Second, Eric is a real problem solver, and even presented issues that I did not see or think about. I would highly recommend hiring Eric as your attorney. In fact, I had at least one friend who trusted her issues with him, and she referred someone to him as well. Eric is the attorney you should call if you have any issues.

Went above and beyond to help me with my accident

Not only is Eric extremely knowledgable and professional, his demeanor is one of caring. He has a general concern for your over-all well being and makes sure that he can do everything in his power to help you with your situation. I was in a motorcycle accident and Eric helped me to reach out to the proper parties to make sure that all my bills were taken care of and pushed back when the insurance companies were less than amicable. He presented my options and consulted with me on my best course of action every step of the way. Absolutely the best experience during the worst times !! Wonderful person and a very through and professional lawyer.

Eric and his team have been the absolute best lawyers we've every dealt with. They were very professional about the entire situation and got us through some real tough times during our custody case. "By far the best"

Beginning the process to obtain a divorce is by no means easy. But when you come across an attorney who is both knowledgeable and sincere, well it makes it so much easier to have someone as Eric to represent you. Couldn't have asked for anyone better

Eric helped me set up my LLC and answered so many questions I had. I was lost and confused with all of the paperwork so he was amazing. He was great through email, text and phone. He always responded fast too! I highly recommend him!

Run away as fast as you can.

Insincere. Offensive. Admitting later he knew he could not ‘win’ my case. Yet, he took it anyway and made out with almost 3 x more than myself. I have worked with attorneys who take one third, not the other way around. In his justification were his version of time spent, which (although I asked to see a running list or updates of any kind along the brief time we worked together, I never did) were sprung on me with no warning. Any ‘evidence’ was procured by me and not used regardless. I lost over 15,000 in an open and shut during the middle of winter in the Pandemic. Stay as far away from him and his nasty, to the point if abusive, external colleague’Ben’ as possible.
