I own 2 6-unit apt. bldgs.; in May 2018, a difficult and complicated situation arose at one of the bldgs. which would normally have required an eviction, but because of Mr. Abrams' excellent guidance, the tenant agreed to voluntarily move. This saved me a good deal of expense, and time. Then se...veral months later a tenant in the other bldg. ceased paying his rent. I didn't hesitate, not even for a moment, to call Mr. Abrams! That also became a difficult situation; ultimately the tenant left after the Sheriff's visit and left behind an apartment and garage full of belongings, further complicating the situation. Mr. Abrams patiently guided me through the entire legal process. I've had some experience with other attorneys, and can sincerely say that in addition to being highly knowledgeable, Mr. Abrams is a pleasure to work with -- there's NOT a shred of impatience or arrogance in him. After the initial office visit, he was always available; I did not have to go through a secretary; I was never shunted off to an assistant. He was prompt with responses to my questions; he sometimes wrote me e-mails in response, and often telephoned me with information and updates. He was never in a hurry, always helpful and had carefully thought-out, creative solutions. I highly recommend him!

Matthew helped me with clearing the title of the my house for sale. The lot number was switched with another house 2 doors up. It had belonged to the same trust bequeathed to 2 sisters and lot numbers were mixed up. When house up the hill went through a sale in 2016 jun, the discrepancy was discovere...d and new deed was prepared, however the title company that handled that sale only went to the county recorder to record the deed, but neglect to file new deed with the Assessor Office. When my house was ready for sale it showed I do not have clear title because lot indicated another house. It sounded simple but was most complicated because of various title companies, county departments that had to be involved. Matthew initiated the change process, and navigated the whole ordeal with firm guidance until it was finally resolved. Great job. This is why I highly recommended Matthew to anyone who has real estate issues.

Matt advised us on a dispute with our landlord and went above and beyond to not only help us come to a good resolution that both sides are happy with, but moreover added practicality and peace of mind to the situation. We plan to purchase a home in the next year and definitely plan to work with Matt ...again! He has a great skill of balancing legal expertise with common sense.
