Matthew is an effective and calm attorney who will persist until you win

Matthew is exactly who you want when you are facing off against a landlord who assumes you don't know your rights or don't have any. He knows tenant law thoroughly and approached my case in a measured way and takes the most crucial, common sense steps in getting you justice. No empty promises but no ...important details left abandoned. My landlord is negligent and a bully and I was suffering continually due to her continued unwillingness to keep the apartment up to code and proper living standards. Many of my belongings were ruined due to rain leaks, floods, and ongoing plumbing issues, as well as a hazardous placement of a ceiling fan leaving my finger broken and permanently damaged. The landlord would trick me into believing there was no action required on her part, sending many harassing texts over the years. I reached out to Matthew and he sent thorough, eloquent demand letters and worked with a lot of patience and diplomacy with her insurance company toward helping me recoup what my belongings and suffering were worth. I felt very vindicated and my landlord even replaced all the plumbing in the building finally as well, and will likely never bully me again. Thank you, Matthew!
