I am in awe of the integrity and work ethic of Isai ! I apologize to Isai for not getting this up sooner. I pray you're NOT going to sue me for loss business as a result !! ;) lol. I got notice of A IRS FULL COMPLIANCE AUDIT (one month after President Obama’s IRS Scandal) I filtered Yelp look...ing for an attorney, as I knew I was going to need one. Plus, I’d rather give my money to an Attorney then to the IRS. Isai did NOT let me down on this intention. I saved paying beyond what otherwise I may have paid, my time included, had I not had the good Blessing of Isai's expertise. ! Isai was one of the first to show up on Yelp, and to me, had the best reviews. We met, I explained my situation. He listened; asked a few questions. When I was finished, he started to talk, and the more he talked, the more I realized he was The One to handle this. I slept good at night too. As we talked, discussed, and Isai explaining IRS motivations, modus-operandi, past US Government Actions (2007) causing AND increasing taxpayer noncompliance behaviors over time; arriving at present IRS audits to "motivate" all taxpayers to "VOLUNTARILY COMPLY"; we discovered we had a lot of similar views. This added additional validation that Isai is “The One” for my tax issues. An even bigger exceedance of my expectation was he charged a flat fee !! In the end, he and his staff seem to put in many hours putting my audit together. He saved me a lot of time having to deal with the details and nuances of an audit, a FULL compliance one at that. Up front, it was time consuming for me = getting all the receipts, and other documents, and recalling why I had my now ex-accountant prepare the returns the way I did, that Isai needed for Audit day. He is very patient waiting for additional or missing, yet needed documents; very non-judgmental, and was very good at jogging my memory when he knew from experience, there was a better, or more correct answer. Realize it is to ensure the best result on, and after, Audit day ! After Audit Day, He was responsive to my calls to get clarifications about responses I would get as a result of Audit Day. I began to feel guilty by this and still feel I owe him more ! Thank God for his integrity that he is good with the fees paid . . . I think ?? The audit is done! ! ! I am a poster boy for the IRS. “PAY UP the LEGAL AMOUNTS OWED TAX PAYERS; AND NOT A PENNY MORE !!!! “ Isai also negotiated the final amount owed and the terms of how it is being paid. I know it was Isai and his staff’s hard work, his structure for putting Audits together, experience of inter acting with the IRS, that saved me significantly more money, has my paying what I owe; through his expertise, knowledge of tax law, knowledge of changing motivations of HOW and WHY the IRS is collecting Revenue, and inter acting with the people at the IRS. An Added Bonus that I was not aware of at the time IS Isai has Street Smarts !!!. I am talking about Hispanic-Ghetto-Gang Member (EX-MEMBER! ! ! ) type street smarts! When I met him, and as the process progressed, I thought I was dealing with a person who was raised with mid-west values and in a sheltered, gated style, community. Wow. Thank God for this growth. He has truly come a long way, and I admire the result of his hard work to get up to and through law school ! ! ! (I presume passed California Bar exam 1st try ??? lol, as my comparison to John Kennedy, Jr (deceased) 5 tries at the New York Bar !!) I would recommend retaining the services of Isai NOW, before he has to control demand for his services by RAISING his retainer Fees, his Hourly fees, and STOPS offering flat rates !! I intent to use Isai for all my future Tax or Balance Sheet related issues. I am NO Longer living in the paradise State of California. Isai he is set up to do the work !!! No matter where I live . . . Thank God for Isai. I am very satisfied with his work !

I can't say enough good things about Isai. My wife and I had been penalized almost $5,000 after we tried to start our own business (LLC). We had our first child and this changed things a bit and we decided to hold off on opening the business, however, we didn't realize we were still liable to file t...he first year's tax return since we never became operational. With our new baby, hospital bills, and since my wife was laid off leaving me as the only household income, we just had no means of paying this off. Enter Isai. When I first called Bizmark Tax, I expected a receptionist to pick up the phone, like some of the other places I'd called. At the time, I didn't realize I was speaking with Isai himself! He was very friendly and his personality resonated through the phone. He first listened very attentively to our issue and then explained how he could help. He was very upfront and knowledgeable about the process of getting this type of issue taken care of. Not only that, but his price was the best of the other 5 places I'd called... by far! He offered to meet with me after work hours during the week, but since that didn't work too well with my schedule, he even offered to meet on Saturday when he normally doesn't work. To make a long story short, we met on Saturday, he called me Monday morning with updates letting me know things were looking good, and by Monday evening he called me back letting me know that the issue had been resolved and that all of our $5,000 in penalties were going to be removed. Unbelievable. One more note...we received a letter in the mail about 2 weeks later letting us know that our penalties were going to be removed. I texted Isai letting him know, and he got back to me within minutes even though he was on vacation out of the country at the time. Good luck finding this kind of service anywhere else! Thank you Isai for helping our family out. I don't know what we would have done without you, and now we can put that money towards raising our son to provide him with the things he needs. I would, and do, recommend Isai to anyone -- it's a no brainer. You won't be disappointed. He is great.

His professionalism and vast knowledge in tax issues is above par. I called him with a tax matter that would have the IRS garnish a huge percentage from my pay check. He put a stop to that right away, in fact the same day I called and made an affordable arrangement. Filing taxes is always my nemesis ...so I have been jumping around for years between H&R block, Liberty, and other tax professionals and felt short on the services I payed for. I am very lucky to have found him through yelp. Now he is the only tax preparer/attorney I and my family will go to. If you get into a jam with your taxes...State and or Fed, like in my case, or filing a simple to complex tax return, save yourselves the headache and call Isai. He is fast, reliable, and affordable. He'll save the day!

I called Bismark Tax, Inc. for a penalty abatement. I didn't know if it was possible, but I paid a penalty in 1998. I spoke with Isai Cortez and he said he could do that. I didn't think it was possible, since it was 2012.. However, he got me the penalty abatement and I appreciate his expertise and... knowledge in the tax law area. Its much appreciated.
