Earlier this year, I made the worst mistake I've ever made in my life. I'll spare you the details of the night leading into it - just know that before the night was through, I was sleeping on a concrete bed in a holding cell, having been booked for a DUI. These were the worst circumstances I've ever ...faced - I'm not usually prone to mistakes this drastic. But everybody slips up here and there, and that's one thing Elliot helped me realized. It's not the end, rather just a very enduring challenge to take head on. I'm very grateful to have found Elliot as quickly as I did. After being released the next day, I immediately sought help from people close to me who I know could get me through the ugliest of situations. One of my best friends recommended that I use AVVO to shop around for a good, reputable lawyer in my area. This friend highly insisted that I call as many as possible to get a better picture of what kind of legal counsel I could afford, and who would be there to really work hard on my case. It didn't take too long for me to come across Elliot's page on this site. I immediately recognized from his profile picture that he was a bruin - the thumbnail photo is an iconic hallway in front of Royce Hall where all the soon to be grads are still out there taking pictures today. The day after I was released from jail, I was in shock. I couldn't believe something like this could happen to me, especially given my history of working closely alongside law enforcement officials. It took me a while to muster up the courage and start doing as my friend had suggested - step one: find yourself a good lawyer. I must've called about a dozen or so different law offices before I got in touch with Elliot. It was about 9PM on a weekday, and I really didn't expect anyone to answer when I called his office. Yet soon as I called, he was the one to answer my phone. I gave him some basic info on what had happened, and in less than a minute he already had all the pertaining information concerning my arrest and case. I immediately knew at this point Elliot was the attorney to go with, especially given his reasonable rate. Elliot took all the headaches away from this entire ordeal. I didn't even have to show up to court, make annoying phone calls to the DMV, or deal with the hoards of paperwork and insurance issues after the fact. Elliot took care of everything, and made constantly checked up on me to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way. After all the discovery and cross examinations came to a close, I was still facing the DUI charge due to some unfortunate witness statements working against my favor. I was in shock, and couldn't believe what I was still facing. When I met with Elliot to discuss this matter, he even told me I looked like I'd been run over by a bus. But he said to not even worry about anything, to take the whole month off and get myself in a good place and told me that we'd meet back again in a month. A month goes by, I come back from a relaxing vacation and go take care of matters with Elliot. He came back to me with some good news, news that meant there was a chance the DUI charges could be reduced to a wet reckless. We go to court together the next day, and he maintains his professional demeanor. Before going up to the judge, he pulls me outside and tells me we did it. Elliot worked miracles that day, because due to the circumstances I was facing, it was next to impossible to get the DUI charges dropped. Yet he pulled it off, and now here I am sitting comfortably at work, enjoying life as usual (albeit with some added court duties to take care of). The whole process was effortless and worry free, all thanks to the excellent services Elliot was able to provide. I'm glad I went with a UCLA grad to get me through the worst of times, Elliot had my back since the first time I gave his office a ring. I very much appreciated Elliot's no BS and honest approach when dealing with my case. I currently live in NC, but needed to resolve some legal issues I had in CA from when I lived there about 15 years ago. I found Elliot Zarabi through a google search. If you're looking for an amazing lawyer to handle your case then look no further. Elliot helped me handle a pretty sticky situation. Three consecutive DUI's within the span of 2 years. Talk about not learning my lesson! After assuring me he would do the best he could to keep me employed and out of pr...ison he did just that. He delivered and managed to keep me out of trouble. The great thing about Elliot is that he is a straight shooter, a real "No BS" type of guy that will promise you only what is feasible. He never let me down in the time he took on my cases, I barely even saw the inside of a courthouse until sentencing. I'm now finishing up my time on house arrest instead of prison. I met couple of attorneys and decided to give my case to Elliot just because I had this feeling that he's good at what he's doing and honestly it was one of the BEST decisions I've ever made in my life.
