I cannot thank Elif Keles enough for the life-changing help she gave my family. My brother’s path to obtaining his U.S. citizenship was not simple, and without her guidance, it may not have been possible. Elif worked on my wife's case around 2013. My wife had been previously married on a conditional green card, but returned to her home country without properly closing her GC when the marriage failed. When I met my wife I was an expat living outside the US, and we found out she had a deportation orde...r that was a few years old even though she had already left the US. So getting the court to reopen her case required knowing the ins-and-outs of the system. My case was a disaster. I and my wife received removal orders from immigration court . I had no hope to get relief.
