I found Nick through a colleague in the Bay Area, and couldn't have been more appreciative of how he took care of us. He was generous with his time and went above and beyond in helping my family and I take care of business without having to travel down to SoCal. His strategy is sound and effective, a...nd he does an excellent job of providing you with enough data to make good decisions. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended

I found Nick a few years ago when dealing with a less than honest landlord on a vacation property I was renting. He handled that case with ease, and that was that. Recently, my company decided to go into litigation against a much bigger company in our industry over a deal that fell through based on ...the other companies inaction after commitment to action. After meeting with several high priced "industry" attorneys, I asked my partner if we should consult with Nick Tepper, because even though the case he handled for me was simple enough and our encounter was brief, I was very impressed with the way he conducted himself. Full disclosure, my father is a lawyer, and my grandmother was a lawyer, so I feel that I know a good attorney when I meet one. We consulted with Nick about the case, and found out that he won a big settlement against a major corporation a few years ago, and going against big companies doesn't phase him. He evaluated what we laid out, and agreed to represent us, and we are very satisfied with his work. Nick says that he cares about his cases, only second to how much the client cares, and he's right. His demeanor and conduct is way above board, but he's also a pitbull, and a procedural whiz with a very quick mind. In short, he has all the ingredients to be your best asset and your adversaries worst nightmare in litigation proceedings, and can't recommend him enough.

Worst lawyer I have ever come across

Hands down the worst lawyer I have ever had. Completely ineffective and at times I was wondering if he really had a law degree. Took my money when I was going through a landlord dispute after I had paid six months rent In advance. He Claimed my landlord needed to be taught a lesson and said he would ...write a strong demand and was sure it would settle as my landlord was just another bully. The minute he got my money (1500 up front) he did zero, nothing. Didn't even write the demand. I asked for a refund after 3 months of absolutely nothing. I asked him to prove he wrote the letter and that he had any communication to solve this at all. He had no letter that he had written He was rude and arrogant and so I'll mannered it was shocking. He wrote back to me when I complained and asked for a refund since he clearly did not do anything and of course he just rudely refused . Do not use him. Absolutely horrendous.

You see how this review is by someone who refuses to identify themselves? In the litigation business I kick butt. And when an opposing party wants revenge against me they pose as a former client and put a bad review. Happens every now and then. This might be a former client but I doubt it. If they dare to identify themselves and waive the attorney client privilege I would be happy to respond with details about their case. Otherwise just chalk it up to another disgruntled opposing party who regrets not having hired me in the first place!

Got me out of a jam when I needed it!

Nick has helped me when I needed the help. I had many questions and he led me in the right direction. I am glad he was there when I needed him and would call him again, but lets hope I don't have to! Thanks Nick!

I worked with Nick on an appellate matter and he and his staff were exceptional in every aspect of the filing. Nick is an excellent writer and advocate and I recommend him to anyone who has an appellate or litigation matter.
