Biography
Edward C. Yim is the Senior Litigation Attorney at Insider Accident Lawyers. With more than 20 years of trial experience, he is dedicated to protecting the rights of injured people and holding negligent parties accountable.
Edward began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor, where he spent five years developing strong courtroom and trial advocacy skills. His experience handling criminal cases prepared him to confidently represent clients in high pressure litigation.
After witnessing family members and loved ones suffer injuries caused by the negligence of others without receiving justice, Edward chose to focus his career on representing injured plaintiffs. Since then, he has been committed to helping clients recover the compensation they deserve while guiding them through every stage of the legal process.
Edward handles a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims involving dangerous property conditions, dog bite cases, and claims arising from government negligence.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in English Literature and American Studies from UCLA before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law.
While attending law school, Edward volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, provided free legal assistance to individuals facing landlord tenant disputes, and participating in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, helping members of the community prepare and file their tax returns.
