Went to my consultation today. The receptionist was rude. Erik had me waiting for about a half hour after my appointment time because he was still with the previous client, whom of which he walked out. When I got in his office, I found that he couldn't help me with my financial situation, so I reques...ted a refund of my $100 retainer deposit. He appeared to be offended by my request and started telling me that I need to write a letter and mail it. I stated that I can just write it now. He gave me a sheet of paper and opened the door for me to leave stating that he had another appointment (I wasn't in his office for more than 10 minutes) and to give the letter to his "receptionist". I asked how long it will take for a refund and he told me that he didn't know. I'm thinking to myself, "what a tool this guy is?" He didn't even walk me out. So I sat out in the reception area and wrote the letter. Afterwards, I took the letter to the receptionist and asked her to sign it and give me a copy. She said, "I'm not signing anything!" without even attempting to take the letter. I told her that Erik said she could. She then took the letter and signed it and gave me a copy without another word. In my opinion, both of them were very unprofessional, ride, and untrustworthy; I feel like I am going to have a problem getting my money back.
