To begin, I only contacted Mr. Bach for a consultation so that's a limitation of this review. Him and his team seemed very professional, and my case was really a lost cause to begin with. I was reported to my university for collaboration on an online non-proctored exam. I had prior violations on my r...ecord, but the evidence against me was very weak for the instance I contacted Mr. Bach. My university doesn't really listen to students, even when they provide evidence and has a 99% convict rate, so I had really been looking for any way to help my case. I paid $300 to consult with him after emailing his assistant. They were both courteous and patient with me and my concerns. I had hoped he would dip into his experience with these matters and tell me what I should do since I had professed my innocence to my university before and they didn't care. I was looking at this happening to me again, and his best advice was to just start the "demand process" which would be to just kind of send demand letters and make many calls to the university for 5k. Thorough the consultation, Mr. Bach was very professional, although at times he seemed dismissive to my concerns. I was not optimistic about the chances of success of this process since the university I attend is massive (multi-billion dollar) and legal processes have a better sway on smaller colleges. I would recommend at least speaking with him about things. I had prior academic violations on my file with my university, so perhaps that's why Mr. Bach couldn't work any angle for my case. I appreciated his honesty in his assessment of my situation. There's a lot of lawyers looking to make a quick buck and will try to get as much money from their clients as possible, but it seemed like Mr. Bach just told me his honest assessment. He did not offer to follow up on any new developments in my case, and he could've been more clear about what his "demand process" would really do for my case. It was hard to choose between 3 and 4 stars for this attorney, I would recommend giving him a shot if your case is more optimistic than mine.
