Chaka T. Crome

My divorce, like many divorces, was awful. Originally, I thought we would have 'conscious uncoupling' and be kind to each other. I was naive. So when I initially consulted with Ms. Crome, she asked pointed, relevant questions about my ex-husband that frankly I wasn't ready to admit so I hired another... attorney who did a bait and switch, he passed my case to another attorney, who passed it on down until I ended up with a lesser experienced attorney who was ineffective in court against my ex's bulldog attorney. I was in jeopardy of losing my marital home, so I went back to Ms. Crome hoping she could fit me into her schedule. Once she became my attorney, everything changed. My emails, and calls and questions were answered. She provided legal counsel, which one would think your attorney is supposed to do but my previous attorney would tell me 'it's up to you". Ms. Crome prepped me for the court room, she pushed back, she stood her ground, she fought for me. Her team, Alicia and Amy, who I referred to as The A-Team because they are as professional as Ms. Crome, also was readily available. Ms. Crome was so effective that not only did I retain my marital home plus a few other assets but afterwards, my ex praised her and told me I had a great attorney and if he ever got divorced again, he would hire her. That is quite an endorsement. So hire her and The A-Team. Don't try out someone else who seems sympathetic and wants to dry your tears. You don't need someone who will dry your tears, you need an attorney who will fight for you. Lastly, be honest, tell your attorney truth and have supporting documents. I highly, highly recommend Ms. Crome & The A-Team. I have my home and financial security because of them.

I consulted with this attorney over a complicated matter that fell just outside of the services Ms. Crome provided. Instead of going through with the consultation, waiting everyone’s time and money, she called me, talk to others, and referred me to some wonderful other attorneys who could help. Ms Crome took over my ex wifes case more than 6 months after a disaster which her previous attorney had created. Ms Crome was very receptive in working with my attorney, and she was very professional and patient, even after our case was over. She had quite a mess to clean up and was quick, proficient... and diligent in her work. Had my ex hired Ms Crome from the start, neither of us would have racked up over $10,000 in legal bills.
