Consulted with and hired Patricia. She over-promised and under-delivered, not to mention, over billed as well.
Although I contacted her two to three months before my court appearance, she waited until two days before court to request documents from DA. At which time, the DA said she could not accommodate Patricia's request because of the short amount of time before court.
Once in court, unbeknownst to me, Patricia could not legally represent me because she failed to file certain paperwork on my behalf, allowing her to do so. She was not allowed to speak on my behalf during court. When she attempted to speak, the DA stated that she could ask her to leave the courtroom since she had not filed the proper paperwork. Patricia told the Judge that she could have the paperwork filed before 5 PM if needed. I requested that she file the necessary paperwork to allow her to represent me and to allow me to have witnesses. Patricia informed me that she didn't want to file the paperwork right away because she did not want to upset the DA.
During my first appearance, Patricia attended another client's hearing. So the judge took a courtroom break to allow Patricia to visit another courtroom. I was billed for the time she was representing her other client in a different courtroom. Additionally, I have been billed erroneously for "inflated time" not actually spent.
During my court appearances, Patricia never advised me what to say, offer any suggestions on what to bring to court to support my claim, etc.
Before a decision was even made by the Judge, Patricia kept focusing on an appeal - where I would represent myself because as she told me repeatedly, "I could not afford an appeal with her." On several occasions, she expressed her desire for me go public with my case. She wanted me to go on the local news, one of which she has a working relationship, to discuss the mistreatment I had received.
Expecting a decision any day, I called Patricia countless times...to the point that I was upset because she had not returned any of my calls.
Once the decision was made, which turned out to be two or three months later, Patricia never reached out to me to discuss the decision. Unfortunately, I found out from a third party because they assumed I had already heard from my attorney, Patricia.
So I wait a couple of weeks after, and I called her office - and kept calling - countless times, leaving voicemails and messages with her assistants. Patricia never returned my calls. I finally reached out to her by text message...of which, she conveniently didn't remember who I was, nor what I needed.
After jogging her memory, she said that I was responsible for following up with her to discuss the decision. I explained that I had called her many, many, many times, with no return call. I also mentioned that her assistant should've called me to let me know a decision was in and to set up an appointment for us to discuss it.
Neither Patricia, nor her assistants would accept accountability. There's no way I would've known a decision had been made if her office didn't reach out to me.
Patricia is very unprofessional and incompetent as an attorney. Her lack of responsible engagement and representation skills make her a less than desirable attorney.
Learn from my mistake. I was in a very difficult, desperate situation. In the past, Patricia had experienced what I was going through. She offered to work with me on the payment, so I hired her. If you learn anything from this review, know that "your hard earned money will be well spent elsewhere."

After being struck from behind by a drunk driver, and not knowing how to navigate the the in's and out's of personal injury lawsuits I realized very fast that I needed an attorney. Patricia came to my home and listened to the details of my situation, and unlike most other clients she has served before I brought a unique set of problems to the table as I was a paralyzed driver many years before this now new set of injuries.
Her and her staff found me the rite therapies, and doctors that led to me finding a new found appreciation of my overall health and well being.
She is very intelligent, professional, compassionate and very good at what she does. Her compassion and attention was a breath of fresh air in an extremely stressful time. I continue to recommend her and her staff to anyone in need of legal representation.

Faced with the daunting task of trying to defend myself in family court, Patricia took my case at a fair price and kept me informed as needed. After suffering a panic attack at my first hearing, Patricia arranged so I would not have to return to court until absolutely necessary. When that time arrived, she aggressively defended me throughout a contentious hearing -and succeeded in getting my case completely thrown out! What a relief.
This whole process has been emotionally overwhelming and physically exhausting. I could not sleep for months. I've always thought the judicial system was inherently biased, but Patty definitely levels the playing field. -Hard-nosed, Witty, and Reliable. I will not trust any other attorney with my life. Patricia delivers results.
