Attorney Harriet H. Roland holds a B.S. in Accounting, and an M.B.A. in taxation. She earned her law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. After working for several of Nevada’s well-known law firms, Attorney Roland established the Roland Law Firm in 1997. She worked on a select bar committee formed to work with the legislature to amend Nevada's trust and probate laws. In addition, Attorney Roland is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and served as chair of the Elder Law Section of the Nevada State Bar. Her extensive experience and training enables her to synthesize all the various aspects of elder law, Medicaid eligibility probate, estate planning, estate taxation, asset protection and trusts. Attorney Roland has obtained admittance, from the Nevada Bar, the Colorado Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court.
