Amazing Representation

I was involved in a long-term mess with my ex-spouse. Making matters worse, my ex-spouse’s attorney was non-responsive and extremely slow to do anything. I hired Bruce and the change was immediate. The day after I retained him, he sent letters and started the process of getting the case moving along. He also let me know the realistic outcomes that we may face along the way. Even more telling, he went above and beyond to let me know the best way to handle the matter so I was not spending too much money. His honesty, knowledge, and preparation was beyond my expectations. We had one court appearance and we achieved all of what we were going for. You could even tell Bruce has a great reputation as it seemed the judge was more inclined to listen to his position. When opposing counsel became desperate and began threatening us, Bruce responded immediately and let me know if it was anything we had to worry about. I can’t recommend him and his firm enough. They ended a 15-month nightmare and did so in a fair manner.

Mr. Shapiro attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and received his Bachelor’s degree in 1984 and his master’s degree in 1986. He graduated from Whittier College School of Law in 1990, Magna Cum Laude. He has practiced in family law since 1990 and has served as a Domestic Violence Commissioner, pro tempore, URESA/Paternity Hearing Master, Alternate, Municipal Court Judge, Alternate, Judicial Referee, Las Vegas Justice Court, Small Claims. Mr. Shapiro has written several articles in the area of family law and has served on the Nevada Children’s Justice Task Force, Clark County Family Court Bench-Bar Committee, State Bar of Nevada, Child Support Review Committee, the State Bar of Nevada Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board, State Bar of Nevada Standing Committee on Judicial Ethics and Election Practices and the Continuing Legal Education Committee. Mr. Shapiro also served on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Nevada from 2003-2005 and 2008 – 2010.

Amazing Bruce Shapiro

I am blessed that I was recommended to Bruce Shapiro. I was told he was an intelligent honest and good man. That is exactly what I encountered. He saved me from being in complete despair from the way my divorce was going. It’s so important to have trust in someone who can have a huge effect on the outcome of something important in your life. Bruce Shapiro

I was referred to Mr. Schapiro for family law, specifically divorce. I knew immediately it was the correct decision. Mr. Schapiro has obviously had much experience in this area and I was incredibly impressed with his immediate and correct assessment of my situation. Very sharp, to the point, accessible and focused. If I had any questions he had immediate answers. All documentation, filings, motions, stipulations and decrees were submitted in record time. Most important, there was never a moment when I did not feel that he had my best interest in sight. Nothing but good things to say about Bruce and Pecos Law Group.

Bruce Shapiro - GREAT Attorney and Firm

Pecos Law Group has been a great source of assistance to me through the years. Bruce Shapiro has been my primary representative, but I have also worked with Shann Winesett and Paul Lemcke. In all cases, Bruce and the team provided excellent representation and advice. They have always told me what I needed to hear – not necessarily what I wanted to hear. Bruce’s explanations have always been clear and comprehensive, yet brief and easy for me (and my non-legal mind) to understand. He always explained the pros and cons of various paths, and provided calm and expert recommendations based upon facts and logic – not the emotion of the moment. Choose the right lawyer it can affect the rest of your life

Aggressive and Competent. Bruce moves fast, efficiently and covers every possibility. He produces far superior results in way less time. I made the unfortunate mistake of choosing a “convenient“ divorce lawyer that could have ruined me. Bruce not only had to fix my previous divorce lawyers mess, but has more than paid for the expense of his services, With his superior knowledge and capability. Knowledge and capability the other lawyers don’t have. By going through this unfortunate and difficult process of divorce, I have learned, a significant amount of divorce lawyers try to finish divorce the easy way with just filing paperwork. They don’t put the time or effort needed to truly help you through this process. Bruce does put the time and effort necessary into getting you through this process with the best possible outcome. Don’t make my mistake by choosing a poor lawyer first. Go with Bruce you’ll come out better on the other side.

Worth Every Penny!

I have use Mr. Shapiro on more than one occasion and, if necessary, would call him again. He is not your cheapest attorney in town but you get what you pay for when it comes to attorneys. I have found that Mr. Shapiro genuinely cares about what is right. I felt he was honest and not afraid to tell you no, just as much as he will tell you yes. I would recommend him over and over to anyone!

Life Saver

I have been using Bruce for 12 years. He is very experienced and knowledgeable about family law. He thinks ahead and is very proactive with respect to suggestions, ideas, solutions and the law in caring for his clients. He is my "go to attorney" in his field and I have recommended him to many people over the year.

Amazing team

When we hired Bruce Shapiro our whole experience with attorneys changed. We had another attorney prior to Bruce but fired that guy and hired Bruce and his team. Thorough and easy to work with.

Highest standards!

I hired Bruce Shapiro for my divorce as well as child custody and school issues. Bruce is always available for every question or concern and always responds to my emails with a sense of urgency. Bruce is a lawyer who is invested in each case, is professional in court, has effective communication skills to settle issues between parties and has a great rapport with judges and the respect of other attorneys. Bruce genuinely wants the issues resolved and a positive outcome for each client! Bruce always made me feel comfortable in every court situation and was compassionate in conveying to the judge what was of highest importance in my case. Custody

Bruce Shapiro managed my custody case for me over the period of almost 2 full years. My child's mom had addiction issues and was a master at hiding her addictions and surrounded herself with enablers. I personally learned a lot just by watching all the methods that Bruce Shapiro used over the 2 year period. Bruce's experience and knowledge of what is needed to win in court is far superior to most family attorneys. If you want one of the best or the best, I would say Bruce fits that billing.

Best in the business

Great Lawyer

My Decree was messed up from a previous lawyer. Bruce Shapiro and his Team (Shann Winsett, Partner, and Allan Brown legal assistant) were able to set the Decree aside and negotiate a new Decree that is fair and acceptable for both parties. More than happy with the professionalism and experience Bruce and his Team have in Family Law.

Outstanding Attorney

Bruce Shapiro has incredible court room presence and his trial preparation is very thorough and detailed. He will always tell you the exact truth about your situation and give you the options and consequences you can and will face at the end result of your case. Never a communication break down with him or his office staff either. If you e-mail Bruce or his staff, or call with a question or concern you will not only get an answer but you will feel at ease to know that Bruce and his staff are taking care of your situation. Agressive and Knowledgeable
