Mr. Montoya failed to do anything in a timely manner. His billing is erroneous and takes multiple months to repay his debts. When he found out that my wife and I were going to settle, he started increasing his billable hours without justification. He claims to know a lot more than he actually knows... but when it came down to it he required me to go to a third-party lawyer to figure out military benefits in which he claimed that he was an expert on. It's abundantly clear that his love of money far surpasses his legal knowledge or consideration for his clients. Arrogant rude and unprofessional.

Failed to follow up on case with petitioner lawyer in regards to specific detials which generated further delays. Erroronous billing on multiple occasions - supported with documetnation, lawyer owes client funds but fails to refund stating client account overdue however most recent monthly invoic...e received states NO outstanding balance.

I would highly recommend Mr. Montoya as an attorney. I live out of State and hired Mr. Montoya over the phone in a child support matter. Right away he made me feel at ease and handled everything so professionally. I was really surprised at how reasonable his fees were for representing me.
