Thabet represented me in a lawsuit against a restaurant in which I fell off an unlit corner of an outdoor stage and broke my leg. I can say without hesitation or reservation you cannot go wrong with Thabet Khalidi. Hands down the best attorney I have ever known or worked with. I am a Viet Nam Combat veteran, self-employed most of my life, absent business only for my military service. My case started with a federal tort action for medical malpractice against the VA. I searched for more than a year for a lawyer willing to take on the VA in a Federal Tort Action. I was turned away by many saying they did not think I could win. Finally found an attorney in the DC area that stepped up. 1st tort action, hard fought but we lost. We filed an appeal, lost again. After losing a Federal Tort Action and appeal, you can sue the Federal Government in civil court, however, Federal Tort Action rules apply. I believe this is the reason that many firms were reluctant to take on my case, so I filed the suit myself. I had fought the good fight for six years and lost but I was not ready to quit. I filed the suit and all required documents Pro Se representing myself. I sure do not recommend that. Soon I am in desperate need of legal advice and representation. I am so grateful to Honorable David Bury, United States District Judge who asked if I would mind if he tried to find me an attorney to take on my case. WOW, did I mind, no way! I really appreciated the thought however I gave it little chance of success; after all I was willing to pay and had no success in finding a lawyer.
