Excellent communication

I have been an office manager for a Doctor of Chiropractic in Tucson for thirty-four years. We have a small practice which, by choice, deals with a limited number personal injury cases specifically because of the extracted process of dealing with attorneys. In three-plus decades of such cases, Mr. Le...vy has represented a handful our patients in accident-related matters. We have seen that his cases have always been handled in a reasonable, precise, and professional manner, from day one to resolution. His attention to detail stands out, as does his genuine interest in the client's/our patient's well being. Communication in these cases is always vital and the fact he and his staff have always been quick and responsive to our calls, emails, and letters stands out as exceptional in our experience dealing with attorneys. Based on our experiences with Mr. Levy, we would highly recommend his services. Roy Bunch, Office Manager Dr. Judith Tucson

My First Perfect Review!

Doug Levy is a lawyer's lawyer! I say this because I am a lawyer and he is mine! Of course he knows the law, better than anyone I know in his areas of expertise. He is also kind, compassionate and practices with the utmost of integrity. I am proud to call Doug my attorney, and my friend. Doug, o...f course, is not perfect. But he is as close to being a perfect an advocate in the areas of PI and medical malpractice as a client could ever hope for! Thank you, Doug, for actually improving the reputation of attorneys in our community.

Thank you for all your help, Doug!

Doug is a lawyer's lawyer. He is the perfect combination of legal expert, passionate advocate for his clients and for justice, and a caring human being. Doug has taken the time on a number of occasions to give me EXCELLENT advice on how to handle small claims (specifically someone who owed us money...) and other legal issues. He speaks directly and without jargon. To sum up, he is the smart, savvy fighter I would definitely want on my side.

Excellent results, honest answers

I had a Doug Levy represent me on a motor vehicle accident back in 2005 after being referred to him by my chiropractor at the time. Initially I had signed with Goldberg & Osborne to represent me, knowing that I would be out of work for a while, I needed to secure some sort of legal advice. After only... a couple of months with them, and only ever having received 2 phone calls, they wanted to settle my case. Let's just say the offer was less than appealing due to the extent of my ongoing injury. I gave Doug a call and immediately liked him. I learned more from him in one phone call than the months I had been with G & O. Doug brought me in to his office and got to know me and my injuries. He made sure that I understood the steps I needed to take to protect myself while being out of work and what information I should be aware of. Doug won the case (goes without saying based on his reputation), and got me the settlement I deserved. Years later, I was unfortunate enough to be in another auto accident, and naturally called on Doug to represent me again. This accident took me years to recover from and was much more complicated than the first. Doug did an excellent job walking me through every step of the way and making me feel comfortable in things that are foreign to me. The end result was better that I anticipated and hopefully, I'll never need his services again, but if so, he would represent me EVERY time!

There is Something Special in that Name - Douglas Levy

You hear people say, “My doctor,” “my attorney,” “my son or daughter”, etc, etc. Each of these expressions has something personal about them. I can identify with “my doctor” or “my son or daughter,” but the thought of “my attorney” was distant and not foreseeable; after all, I had been doing pretty ...well, because for me, having “my attorney” connected me to the court system that I had done everything to stay away from; and I was very successful. I did not think I was going to need an attorney. Therefore when tragedy – “the death of my son,” like a hurricanes destructive winds forced its power on my family, I realized I would need to file a “wrongful death lawsuit.” I did not know what a “wrongful death lawsuit” really entailed. However, it was very clear, right at the beginning, that I needed an attorney whom I trusted first and foremost. I had specific criteria for the attorney who would represent us. I was presented with other names, but in the end, I went with Doug. For me it was as if Douglas Levy was destined to handle the case. Reflecting on this choice today, I am happy and satisfied. Doug is visionary, very respectful, enthusiastic, encouraging, knowledgeable, firm, trustworthy, impressive, available and ready to fight for justice for you. He has a high degree of tolerance, patience, and determination in the face of incredible challenges. He is a hard worker, supportive, and above all, I was very confident in him and trusted him wholeheartedly. He poured his heart out for my case. I always looked forward to seeing Doug and his staff. Doug and his staff meticulously explained everything in detail. I was constantly updated with the progress of the case. I didn’t have to ask. Our case required expert witnesses. He found the best expert witnesses relevant to our case from across the country, not a simple task. Before my son’s demise, I thought I understood what “Justice” meant, or at least I had read enough to have a personal opinion. I had the impression, or should I say “illusion,” that if the “facts” of your case were iron clad certain, then justice was guaranteed. I was absolutely wrong. I came to realize that there are factors, interests and forces unimaginably powerful, and capable of thwarting, distorting, or will out-right work to undermine even the best of efforts. I realized that “Truth,” “Facts,” and “Justice” each becomes a matter of opinion that can be manipulated, diluted or circumvented. You come away realizing that Justice is neither free nor guaranteed. The highway for Justice, I discovered, is littered with disappointment and broken hearts. Even the best of “facts“ can be flushed away or can succumb to sound bites that are nothing but “integrated fabrications” designed to create confusion especially in a high stakes jury trial. Therefore, on this journey, you will need a capable warrior as I did, who understands every nook and corner, the potential traps and potholes that lie ahead, and can develop a plan that works for you. In my case, Douglas Levy, my attorney; his expertise, his experiences, his will power and toughness, and knowledge went a long way in the high stakes trial. I wished the circumstance that brought me to Doug were different. But if there had to be something positive that had to come out of our tragedy, meeting and working with Doug, his family and his staff tops that list. In the end, I got more than I could have imagined. In the best of times, or in the worst of times, I found in Doug, a friend for life. You could not ask for more. I continually present Douglas Levy as a man of integrity, an attorney who will represent you wholeheartedly, and an attorney you can truly call, “My Attorney,” and so do I. If your needs are not in his area of practice, you will surely benefit from his recommendations. Trust him to be there for you always. Asuquo

"Talented, Aggressive, Knowledgeable Litigation Attorney 5.0 stars Posted by DAVID I practiced business law in Silicon Valley for forty years. On many occasions I had to select litigation attorneys to prosecute or defend actions for my business clients. I know the tells of good attorneys and bad ones. I can recognize the ones who know their stuff and the ones who don’t. I met Doug Levy in 2005 when a wealthy Arizona friend needed a litigation attorney, and I went with my friend when he met with Doug whom he eventually hired. In that case Doug rejected the insurance company’s offers and took the matter to binding arbitration where Doug secured an award of $190,000, far higher than any of the insurance company’s settlement offers. Over the ensuing years on many occasions I’ve spent many hours with Doug, and I know his personality, his intelligence, his ethics and his character. If I had to pick the top five litigators I’ve met over my forty years of practice, Doug Levy"

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Candid, smart, hard-working & experienced, Doug Levy is our "go to guy" for Arizona legal matters. Having known him for over a decade, he is always forthright in his answers & able to put us in the right direction. I have also visited his office & he could also be the mayor, he is so popular. He does not waste our time with B.S. and, as a second generation personal injury lawyer, he really understands the important issues deeply. Unlike most "wannabe p.i. lawyers," Doug also puts his money where his mouth is, passionately supporting those groups that help injured victims & disabled workers before the state legislators & on Capitol Hill."

"For almost 3 years I worked with Doug on a personal injury matter that was venued in Tucson. To say that Doug knows the law and that he is smart, organized, thorough, informative and diligent are understatements. He is all that and more. I have enjoyed working with him and will not hesitate to refer clients to him in the future."

"I endorse this lawyer. Doug has extensive knowledge in the field of personal injury. He has a wealth of knowledge in the field of dog bites and accidents where the defendant is also guilty of DUI. Doug also mentors new attorneys to help them develop their skills. For these reasons I highly recommend Doug Levy as a personal injury attorney."

Douglas’s comment:

“Please see my "Client Reviews," which are perfect and kind and wonderful. Please see my "Profile," which clearly responds to this nonsense. This suspension had nothing to do with "unethical" nor illegal conduct as a lawyer, nor as a person. That suspension had to do with being wrongfully accused of engaging in litigation with an "offensive personality." I steadfastly denied those allegations and no one ever appeared...”
