I was faced with a Child Custody case nightmare that started in the state of CT and ended in AZ. At the time I had to hire a CT attorney to get my children back into my custody after my children's father refused to return them back to me after Christmas break of 2014. I had to hire an AZ attorney out... of Cochise County to get temporary orders stating I was the custodial parent as per AZ law because I was unmarried to the father of my children. His staff were very helpful in providing excellent communication with me by email and telephone on every detail throughout the whole case. I was able to get my children back to AZ within 11 days during the back and forth process with the CT Court and Randy's involvement and dedication to my case. When we finally went to court here in AZ, Randy made sure everything would be fine and to not be nervous. In my opinion, this was a very difficult case and there is no case out there that Randy cannot handle and fight for you until the end. I still have issues about the case concerning the father of my children and his lawyers not following what the Judge ordered and decided and Randy is still willing to help. Randy is very kind, thorough and understanding of the whole situation. He was also very patient with me given the situation. If you are looking for someone who is looking for your best interest and willing to actually listen to your needs and worries during a difficult situation this is the right attorney for you. Paul Randall Bays was the worst attorney I have ever encountered in my life. He was completely rude and didn't care about my story or any of the facts that I had to say. He kept cutting me off, rolling his eyes while I spoke and just darn right rude. I would not recommend going to him. I would rather... represent myself than have to deal with him for one more second. Paul can't say that I am going to win on a case if knows nothing about the case and doesn't care to know about it.

Mr. Bays represented us in a recent modification of custody case. From beginning to end, he was a strong champion for us. He has a knowledge and depth of the law, the court system, and the best tactics for a successful resolution to your case. He successfully negotiated an out of court settlement ...for us that was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be more grateful. It is helpful to any attorney to be organized, have a clear goal in line to give to them, and prepare any and all information and evidence for him to support your case in court or as leverage in negotiations. We cannot think of another lawyer in the area with the stellar performance of Mr. Bays in the Cochise County area. He's worth every penny to have on your side and you definitely don't want to be representing the other party! The only advise I would give is to proof read any documents from the assistance or secretary before clearing them to be filed.

I saw Mr. Bays on the day day I first went into his office looking for a divorce attorney. Over the following five months, I did not see him once, in spite of an attempt on my part at least three times to do so. The flow of information from his office was almost non-existant, and unless they needed... copies of something, was initated by me. That's five months of virtual silence during one of the most stressful events in a pesrsons life. On the day of my divorce hearing, Mr. Bays did not even recognize me. My wife had made some modifications to our agreement at the eleventh hour. Of course, Mr. Bays did not catch it...I did. Mr. Bays' advice was to accept the changes, which cost me another $10K. He left me with the feeling he had somewhere better to be. In the end, he did nothing for me but file copies of pay stubs, and show up for the hearing. My wife's attorney? By all measures, she was everything you'd want in someone representing you...so there is at least one decent attorney in SV.
