Horrible Attorney

I hired Matt to handle my divorce. He had conversations and made deals with my ex-husband without my knowledge or consent. It was as if he was representing my ex and not me. He was referred to me by a mutual friend who highly recommended him. But they had a falling out during my case and Matt too...k his anger out on me and failed to ethically represent me.

Family Court

Matt was brilliant! He is highly organized, available at all hours, and honest. He doesn't just tell you what you want to hear but will tell you what you can actually win reasonably, and that goes along way in being forthcoming about a case and your chances to win which saves you money. Matt has ...been my attorney for 12 years, and I wouldn't go to anyone else. I've seen other lawyers in the courtroom, and Matt is by far superior in every way. He kept me informed of the process, was reasonable with his fees, and a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. My son's father was trying to seek child support from me because he was tired of paying to take care of his child. Not only did he lose, but he now owes me twice as much as he did previously plus the attorney's fees. I highly recommend Mr. Schultz to anyone who really needs an attorney to fight for their rights or their child's rights.

The best divorce attorney in Phoenix!!!!!!

Matt did a fantastic job representing me in my divorce. My ex wife was asking for a $40,000 settlement against me. Not only did I not have to pay her a dime; I amazingly won a $5000 settlement against the ex wife! If you want a tuff lawyer that will stand up for your rights and win your case then ...Matt is your man. Matt is very in depth and he now knows my financial situation better than I do but in the end he needs to know everything so can win the case. Thanks again Matt.

Contiguous battle with child education

Matt was amazing! We appreciated how quick he was to get us in for a consult. He's extremely educated on family law and was able to read and understand our parent agreement which was previously issued. He kept us informed throughout the whole process and made sure he was available 24 hours for any q...uestions or concerns we had. He follweded up promotly which was very reassuring. He was even able to get our court fees paid! I've already referred him to three coworkers and they loved how he consulted with them over the phone and provided advice that was helpful.

The Best Divorce Attorney

I was referred to Matt by another client who he had represented in a divorce. I asked if he had to do it again would he pick Matt and he told me Matt is the very best. There are a lot of lawyers, but there are very few that can represent a client in a divorce the way Matt represented my interest. Mat...t is very thoughtful, professional and thurough in every single step of the process. My case was complex and my divorce was very painful. Matt simplified the legal approach and was sensitive to emotions that flare during these cases. Matt was always well prepared, incredibly responsive by phone, text and email. It was impossible to predict the positive outcome Matt was able to negotiate. Remember, there is the law and there is a negotiation in divorce. Matt knew the law from every angle, but it was his ability to negotiate that earned me a very favorable outcome. Matts the best!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Matt's current AVVO rating is not indicative of his excellence inside and outside of the courtroom. Nor does it reflect his dedication to his clients and his ability to take on tough cases that other attorneys have passed on and then receive favorable results. Matt's 20+ client reviews speak for themselves. I have opposed Matt in several cases and each time he has left no stone unturned, meticulously attended to every detail and presented his case with the talent and skill that most other lawyers wish they had."
