Five Stars

When I was at my wit's end, I came across Matt. I triple checked and compared attorneys because I was done trusting attorneys who don't work effectively. Ltigation costs money. As client, I want to feel that the time and work involved were effective. Matt is an attorney by passion. His pen doesn't ...drop for the day just because the clock shows 5 pm. He knows what he is doing all the steps of the way. No wasted time. Honest billing based on actual work done. Matt prefers email. Some reviewer complained Matt is not available over the phone. He called me when it was required and email was very convenient. Matt is very confident about his skills and ability to juggle cases. That's not arrogant at all as someone suggested. If a professional knows what he is doing, he can say so. He always has an argument ready and can refer to laws and rules. He simply knows his profession inside out. The way he describes himself, is accurate. When I think of the complications that come with Family Court, I was well prepared by Matt, taken care of.. That means, that the money you spend on an attorney, is best spent on Matt. The more conflicted a case, I knew I needed someone confident and strong. He is a keeper as attorney. Extremely well organized on top of all. He was even able to meet on a weekend when that was the best option during a tight schedule. Look at his office hours. There's integrity and understanding right there. Other attorneys can learn from Matt if they truly want to learn. The disciplinary action that screams oh crap on his profile is outdated and has nothing to do with his attorney skills. Thank you, Matt for everything and I will recommend you to everyone I come across and will also be in touch when or if I need assistance.

HE IS AN ANOMALY!!!

I can't put into words enough... our deepest appreciation & gratitude for hiring Matt as our attorney and his dedicated work to our chaotic/toxic case for well over 8 years!... Had our children not reached emancipation at this juncture in our lives, he would still be our attorney of choice, HANDS DOW...N! Matt is honest, strategic, and wins with factual arguments from doing his homework. He is the BEST OF THE BEST!

Cream of the Crop

Matt Schultz was incredible throughout the entire legal process. I first emailed him some general information via his webpage, and he personally responded within a half an hour. He is a clean-cut, well-mannered, intelligent professional. It was evident by the initial meeting that he was fully know...ledgeable regarding family law. He is extremely well educated, as well. Matt was completely honest with me about what to expect the entire way through the process, even if it was something I didn't want to hear. He always responded to my questions and concerns in a timely manner. I have the utmost respect for him as a person and an attorney. The opposing party attempted to "play dirty". Matt upheld his strong moral compass and stellar work ethic, and encouraged me to remain polite and honest, all the while standing firm and being bold. He is a good person, as well as a fine attorney. We did not stoop to the opposing party's level; we adhered to the facts of the case and had a favorable outcome. There was not one single time when Matt didn't have a solution for some of the curveballs thrown at us. He is capable of thinking outside the box and was always prepared ahead of time. He truly supported me and my case with strategic certainty. I will recommend Matthew Schultz to anyone in need of a powerful family law attorney. He is, hands down, at the top of his game.

Highly recommend

Matt was recommended to me by a fellow attorney......I could not have been more thrilled that I hired him. Matt upheld an order of protection for me, despite being hired the day prior. Matt was professional, thorough, and honest. Highly recommend!

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Matt's current AVVO rating is not indicative of his excellence inside and outside of the courtroom. Nor does it reflect his dedication to his clients and his ability to take on tough cases that other attorneys have passed on and then receive favorable results. Matt's 20+ client reviews speak for themselves. I have opposed Matt in several cases and each time he has left no stone unturned, meticulously attended to every detail and presented his case with the talent and skill that most other lawyers wish they had."
