Saved my grandson

Family circumstances had left me in need of legal assistance. I had no idea where to begin or even exactly what I was up against. From the moment we met, he took in a genuine interest in my plight and the fight to obtain custody of my grandchild after both of his parents abandoned him. Without the expeditious efforts of Nicholas, his assistant Gloria Rodriguez, and the team at Cantor Law, my grandson was facing becoming a ward of the state. In less than 9 months from retaining Nicholas, I was granted full custody of my grandson. I am now able to move forward providing my grandchild a beautiful life without fear of one of his parents taking him away in the midst of a life neither of them is able to provide for him. A Phoenix, AZ native, Nicholas graduated from Arizona State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of San Diego. During law school, Nicholas interned at Viacom—believing he wanted to practice entertainment law—writing and reviewing contracts for MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central. Through this experience, he learned that transactional law was not for him, and instead pursued a career as a trial attorney.

Nicholas began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General with the Arizona Attorney General's Office, representing the Department of Child Safety. In this position, he appeared in several hundred juvenile court hearings, mediations, and trials.

Upon leaving the Attorney General's Office, Nicholas started as an attorney with Cantor Law Group, where he now is the Managing Family Law Attorney. With Cantor Law Group, Nicholas’ trial experience continues to build, handling extremely contentious custody matters, along with high-net worth, complex, and high-profile cases, including representing athletes and celebrities.

Nicholas’ practice includes, dissolution of marriage, legal separation, high net worth/complex divorces, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, child support, paternity, parenting time, legal decision-making (formerly "custody"), spousal maintenance, modifications and enforcement of existing orders, relocation, orders of protection, injunctions against harassment, grandparent rights, DCS cases, dependency, guardianship, termination of parental rights, and adoption. He represents people in all walks of life throughout Arizona and Nationwide.

Nicholas is involved in the Arizona legal community, conducting Continuing Legal Education Events for other Arizona family law attorneys, through the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association. For example, chairing the Juvenile Law Section Arizona State Bar Convention for 2020, along with moderating Judge panels for the Arizona Family Law Bar. Additionally, he is involved in his community having sitting on the Board of Director for six years for Skate After School a local non-profit origination partnering with schools to provide skateboard instruction to underserved youth.

Personally, Nicholas spends his free time with his Wife and two Children, and has been playing the drums and guitar in bands for over twenty years.

Custody Battle

Nicholas Boca was brought onto my case in January of 2021 and has been absolutely phenomenal. I was in a high conflict custody battle for 4 years and before Nick came onto my case, I felt so defeated. Great Family Attorney

My wife and I had been through a 2year grueling custody battle for my daughter from a previous relationship and was grossly misrepresented during the first hearing. After looking for reputable attorney’s in the valley we came across Nik and read his reviews. Nik was exactly what we needed for our case. The other party and counsel were extremely difficult, manipulative, always combative, and would flat out lie. Nik was always responsive, informative, and able to keep us clam when we were extremely stressed over continuous escalated events that would occur through the course of our case. Expectations were always set for us on what could potentially occur with the trial and he always understood our frustrations. Nik was able to present crucial evidence quickly as our hearing wasn’t very long. Nik respectfully disagreed with a statement the judge made, which she ultimately ended up agreeing with him on at the conclusion of our trial. We obtained the verdict we were seeking and couldn’t be more thankful to Nik and Gloria for all the work they did on our case. Amazing Phenomenal Simply the best in AZ

Exceptional Legal Counsel

After consulting with several law firms in Phoenix regarding my case I chose Cantor Law Group and they met all of my expectations. Retain this man!

For years I tried changing my venue from Tucson to Phoenix to adjust my child support and custody and for years I failed.. I worked with the court system and believe me when I say that it was a nightmare. I found Cantor Law Group and had the pleasure of working with Nik Boca and Gloria Rodriguez. Not only were they responsive, fast paced and focused, they were honest. Nik worked with me on ways to help make this process as painless as possible and also helped me find ways to save money and keep my composure through everything. Nik Boca- Outstanding Lawyer

I have had the pleasure of working with Nik Boca as my lawyer during a very challenging divorce case. I would very highly recommend Mr. Boca for parents facing difficult custody situations. There are two key things that initially stood out to me in working with Mr. Boca that makes him an outstanding lawyer, and one that I would highly recommend. First, Mr. Boca has the ability to be both empathetic and highly rational- this has allowed me to make the best decisions possible thus far in my case. It is evident in Mr. Boca’s approach that he cares deeply about the outcome of the case and understands that my priority is my child and his safety. Mr. Boca was one of the only lawyers I spoke to who used my child’s name, and remembered facts about him, while many lawyers I interviewed at the onset could barely remember his gender. However, Mr. Boca does not let the emotional impact of my case drive our decision making. He is extremely well-versed on precedents and rulings in Arizona, so the advice he gives is practical and honest. Mr. Boca works to provide me with my options, while acknowledging the difficulty I face as a parent in making decisions during this time. While he always advises me on my options based on his immense knowledge, he also makes it clear that if I want to go a different route he will be very supportive and provide the best representation possible. Because of my confidence in his knowledge and experience, I find it easy to trust Mr. Boca and his advice. Because of his clear concern for myself and my child’s well-being, I believe that he will guide me to the best possible outcome. I also believe can tell Mr. Boca understands that some of his clients have faced significant abuse, and his calm demeanor and compassion are extremely helpful when one is taking the unknown step of divorce. I could go on and on regarding Mr. Boca’s handling of my case thus far- despite this being a terrible time, he has made it bearable, has allowed me to feel hope for mine and my son’s safety and well-being, and has helped me hold on to hope for the future. If you need a lawyer, I highly recommend Mr. Boca, and stress that he is honest, compassionate, rational, knowledgeable, and values families and finding the best outcome for them.

Honest, Knowledgeable, Outstanding Attorney!

Nic Boca is a stellar attorney that has the patience, knowledge, temperament, and ability to persevere through difficult situations and come out on top. He is no-nonsense and not willing to settle for anything, but what is right. He assisted me through a long and extremely difficult mediation process with my ex-wife. He was able to give me his honest opinion and provide specific examples of cases to give insight that guided me in the right direction. I can not speak more highly of Nik Boca. I was involved in a family dependency case for almost two years. The impact it had on my family is indescribable. As you can imagine these situations can be more than just stressful, but have the potential to break the most resilient of persons. Nik was not only dedicated, but also professional, responsive and a wealth of knowledge in regard to the entire process, but was more than a lawyer; he was a true friend. Phenomenal

This law firm, and particularly Nik Boca, are as rock solid as they come. We spent the better part of three years with a different reputable lawyer who not only mishandled our case during a trial that resulted in the absurd relocation of my son, along with multiple failed attempts at addressing issues in my sons new location. Nik and his team stepped in to the middle of this mess and have been nothing but efficient and transparent. We were able to settle everything within a matter of a couple of months, which is light speed in terms of court matters. Thank you!

Nik Bocca literally changed our families life. We have been struggling with a nasty custody case off and on for over 2 ½ years. We first went to the Cantor Law Group as a father desperately needed to relocated his son for his wellbeing. We were so lucky to get Nik as a representative back in 2017, he was able to help us get the child relocated. Less than a year later we started getting harassed by the other party and had to re-hire Nik to help us keep the child with us. Nik not only was able to get the child to stay here where he is absolutely thriving but he also got us awarded child support and attorney fees. He did a phenomenal job in court, conducted himself in a very professional and passionate way. Nik was extremely helpful through the whole process and so caring. We never felt like a number to him, he showed us that we were important and that he wanted the best for the child. The best attorney you can retain

I’m so grateful that I found Nik Boca at Cantor Law Group. I had a complicated parental rights termination that I was dealing with and Nik was able to step in during the middle of the case and never skip a beat. Nik was instrumental in communicating with the other attorneys involved and was able to help me resolve my case favorably with the court.
