I spoke with Matthew Lopez in December about a disorderly conduct charge he lead me to believe that we could pull the camera footage from the gas station and we would have all sorts of options. I felt like my best interests were served using this law firm. After signing and paying over 3k I was immed...iately assigned to Harvey who doesn't return phone calls or emails. While working with Harvey on my case I made it clear my 2nd amendment rights were of upmost importance to me. He basically told me if I completed anger treatment classes I would have my rights back he did not go over the plea agreement in its entirety and left out crucial details such as I would be on unsupervised probation for a year and during that time I wouldn't be able to handle firearms. We were supposed to do a telephonic hearing but was unable to get the required requirements for the court done in time so we decided to go in person for court on Monday, Harvey told me he would arrange everything. On Sunday afternoon less than 24 hours before my court hearing I recieved a email from Harvey stating he had a felon case on Monday he had to go to court for and would be sending another lawyer from the lawfirm. When I showed up to court at 7:30 the security guard stopped me as I wasn't on the list as Harvey never called to setup the in person court appearance. Then the lawyer from the law firm was over an hour late, I called the law firm three different times and was assured someone would call me back to confirm the lawyer was on his way, that never happened. Finally I meet Derrick my new attorney apparently and he asks if Harvey went over the plea agreement which I responded no and he foes the same song and dance never goes over unsupervised probation or my 2nd amendment rights. Then as we are going into court he starts asking people if they need a lawyer seriously giving ambulance chaser vibes. I felt like I was pressured to sign by this law firm and they didn't really care about what I wanted. I asked multiple times on monday to speak with a office manager and was never put into contact with anyone. There is no way to give feedback at this place except with a senior partner and when you fo they drop you. I spoke with a senior partner earlier today and relayed all of this information and was told by him I need to go to the court and file these motions etc and I said look I think I want to get a second opinion and he said that was my right. At 5pm today I recieved a email stating that they had withdrawn as my attorney. I cant begin to describe how badly run this lawfirm is, take it from someone who uses lawyers for the last eight years this has to be the worst chop shop I have ever seen. I will be filling a state bar complaint.

Matthew is a con-artist him self. I contracted Mr. Lopez to help me with a case. Poor judge of character! Represents himself as someone who will handle your case and they care, however, in my opinion, Matthew does not care about his clients, is driven to con his clients like myself out of hard and h...onest earned money, only to pay his employees to handle the work for him. Shame on your Matthew Lopez for your lack of integrity, honesty. I will get my money back through Small Claims proceedings and I am preparing a complaint with the Arizona Bar Association. This crooked lawyer needs to be stopped, he will be stopped.

Going through the case was very difficult for me and my family but Mr. Lopez was very supportive and answered all of our questions. While working on the case with Mr. Lopez, I was able to achieve very important personal goals and live a normal life thanks to his help. Mr. Lopez is the best criminal defense attorney in Arizona and I cannot recommend him enough! This was the most difficult time of my life and Mr. Lopez, as a wonderful professional sent by God, was there to represent me.
